| He who dies with the most toys wins.....NOT. | 30 Aug 2005 17:54 GMT | 3 |
Read a short article about one of the co-founders of webtv (a favorite topic of this forum 8>0). In Fridays WSJ they said his family had reduced the price (to 26 mil) of his house (in Cali) that they were selling. He had died in '02 at age 39.

| Not much makes me sad | 30 Aug 2005 03:35 GMT | 21 |
But at 144,053 miles, on a road trip, our engine started sounding like it had metal on the inside of it rattling around. Took us a day to get it trailered back to the repair shop here. I expect that we are going to have to scrap the Previa and I can't afford a replacement right ...

OK, folks, my turn. How can I remove the drums from an '86 Camry? Yes, the E-brake is off and, no, there AREN'T any 10mm bolt holes to insert a bolt through. Stumped. Trying to pry them off but getting nowhere fast.

| One fix at a time | 29 Aug 2005 05:58 GMT | 3 |
It seems to me, that if a car needs several items done, it is better come to dealership ant do one item at a time than all together. Reason: when car comes for service, all is done by one mechanic, who may not be the best in each separate task. Separately, each task may be assigned ...

| Stiff steering - not exactly | 29 Aug 2005 05:20 GMT | 17 |
Every once in a while I notice my Corolla 94 gets stiff steering Just figured out that the force needed to turn the wheel is the same. But the 'freeplay' sometimes gets reduced, which makes the steering *feel* stiff. So far, situation comes back to normal by itself.
