'95 Corolla: interior color & parts question19 Aug 2005 19:39 GMT3
I just purchased a '95 Corolla DX Wagon. The exterior color is kind of a
dark gray, but on the brownish side, and the interior is kind of a brown
color, but with a touch of burgandy. I'm wondering - is there a tag on the
car someplace that indicates what the actual colors are?
Overfilled my oil...how do I lower it now?19 Aug 2005 16:54 GMT12
I'm a little over full on a 2000 Avalon.  Can I just suck it out of
the dipstick hole with a tube or something?

Hybrid Cars - Electrocution Danger question19 Aug 2005 06:53 GMT70
I saw a story on the news not too long ago.  It said that rescue
workers are in danger when there is a crash involving a hybrid car of
electrocution.  I would not have thought of it but, apparently, when there
is a bad crash and the jaws of life need to be used cutting through ...

I realise my query may not be relevant to this group, or that it might have

Either way, apologies. However, my query is this:

Sort of OT: JD Power vs. Consumer Reports18 Aug 2005 22:04 GMT68
Consumer Reports and JD Power both released reliability reports in 2005, and
their results were very different.  Here is a quote from the one from
Consumer Reports:

Anticipation and excitement18 Aug 2005 19:34 GMT4
My 2005 Prius is expected to be delivered to the dealership today. I can't
wait for the phone call. It's like I'm a first time father waiting for my
first child to be born.
91 Camry... Chattering from starter mortor at startup... Need advice18 Aug 2005 17:28 GMT1
I have a 91 Toyota Camry LE.  Recently, I have noticed that frequently
when I turn the starter key on, the starter does not seem engage
immediately.  It seems to "chatter" for a while...  as if it is having
a hard time engaging into the torque converter ring.  Everytime thus

2000 echo engine mounts18 Aug 2005 06:09 GMT4
I lost a 2000 Echo (2-door, manual) with 77K miles and no problems with the
engine mounts.  I replaced it was a 2000 Echo (4-door, manual) with 55K miles,
and am being told that it needs new engine mounts.  Is it just "luck of the
draw" or are there other factors that might be ...
Transmission Solenoid Sensor18 Aug 2005 06:03 GMT8
The engine light is "on" because the transmission sensor on my 97 Camry
needs to be replaced. That's the sensor--not the solenoid. In other words,
the solenoid is working fine and the car drives beautifully--as it always
has. Turns out that Toyota only sells the sensor as part of ...
Radio18 Aug 2005 05:57 GMT3

Why we drive Toyotas18 Aug 2005 05:55 GMT55
Well as gas prices rise, many of us are reminded why we got our first Toyota
in the first place.
Gas has hit 2.55 in Kankakee.  The tankful I have in the Corolla I bought at
2.24.  Oh, no, there is no price coersion in Illinois.
