Good morning Forumz-ers I have recently purchased a previously-loved 2004 Toyota Echo RS Hatchback from a Mercedes Dealer. It came with cruise control, however, I did not test this when buying.

Turning bolts through the threaded holes did the trick... Now that I have the drums off they dont look bad. The pads are ready to be replaced but they have not worn the drums to bad. Do they still resurface drums? I had it done years ago...

A couple weeks ago I took the Supra out to impress some Ladies (STILL didn't get me any!!)and noticed on the way home, under certain conditions, the tach will surge between 1800-2000RPM. Hit the gas and it stops, drop below 1800 and it stops.

I am going to be ordering/purchasing a 2006 Toyota Matrix XR FWD or XR AWD within the next month. I still have not yet decided whether 3 mpg less, 7 horsepower less, and 1.3 gallons of fuel tank capacity less are worth the all wheel drive.

I'm trying to remove the passenger front door panel to gain access for R&R of the door lock actuator. I see a nickel size cover at the top left that must cover a screw, and a visible screw behind the door handle. I removed the visible screw but don't know if the door handle

I got the tires off, finally. I've spun the adjuster wheel back so the pads should close up. Still the drums wont budge. I'll look at the parking brake and loosen that next. the wheel spins with a short scraping sound once every revolution.

I have very low fuel pressure,does anyone know all the componets from tank to injector rod, I have an idea it's the fuel pump. I do not want to drop the tank until all other possibiliyes have been tried. I am tring to troubleshoot without a manual or Toyota experience...
