| Nice Ride... | 28 Sep 2005 02:37 GMT | 23 |
Fall has descended in New England. We went from a high of 84 on Thursday to a high of about 70 today. The sun was full on all day. I changed the rear pads since the brakes were squealing (Supra) and decided it would be a good day to 'test' them.

Can anyone explain what I have to take apart to connect my new mast antenna to the radio connector? I can see that the connector attaches to the radio, runs over the speedometer assembly and rests behind and slightly below the driver's side dash vent. How do I get to the cable

What Religion is Your Bra? A man walked into the ladies department of a Macy's and shyly walked up to the woman behind the counter and said, "I'd like to buy a bra for my wife. What type of bra?" asked the clerk.

At the end of this posting is a response I received from a local Toyota dealer in northern Indiana about buying a 2006 Matrix. Regarding #4 below, this seems to contradict what I have found on Kelley Blue Book and other sites. I want ABS and Vehicle Stability Control. My

| '05 Prius passenger front airbag: How?? | 27 Sep 2005 13:42 GMT | 5 |
I like the stacked glove compartments in front of the passenger in our '05 Prius, but the upper one seems to occupy the region whence the passenger's front airbag would deploy. All other cars I've owned have had a clearly defined panel that would be blown aside by the inflating

| '05 Prius: replacing the vanity lamp? | 27 Sep 2005 13:40 GMT | 9 |
Lowering a sunvisor on the '05 Prius reveals a light fixture embedded in the headliner. The fixture includes an on/off switch and the lens that covers the cartridge-style lamp. I want to sacrifice the lamp and use the cartridge clip as a 12-v source for my visor-mounted radar

| Prius grounds and always-on 12V source? | 27 Sep 2005 13:34 GMT | 2 |
I have a GPS system I've been using in the '98 Avalon and now wish to transfer to the '05 Prius. The GPS (a Garmin eMap) prefers to have its power always on. Else it goes through a tedious start-up sequence that requires three manual interventions by the driver -- a serious

| Acronym quiz | 27 Sep 2005 09:00 GMT | 15 |
Charles Pisano had a good point. The auto bidness is probably second only to the U.S. military for using obscure acronyms and abbreviations. (Hint: Some acronyms and abbreviations are exclusive to Toyota, some are common in the auto industry) This is not a complete list, just ...

| 2000 Corolla CE Passenger side power window | 27 Sep 2005 08:15 GMT | 4 |
I have just purchased this corolla with 30,000 miles on it and the passenger side window has a problem. The problem is if you fully open it and then close it a couple times it will just stop working. Then if you give it a little time, say a minute or so, it works again. Any

| Supra AT without an ECT? | 27 Sep 2005 06:47 GMT | 2 |
I was readin the TSRM for my Supra, and it said to do the 'manual shifting test' with the ECT disconnected. Now, I think we know by now that I have to shift the damn thing manually anyway. Are there any consequences/benefits from disconnecting the ECT in

| FYI- answer regarding vehicle payoff | 27 Sep 2005 04:29 GMT | 6 |
I posed this question a few days ago: "Since it's financed through toyota financing, where do I go to pay it off? Do they have local offices? I don't think someone will want to pay me for the vehicle, then wait a week to get the lein release and
