1993 4runner code 25 trip31 Oct 2005 23:15 GMT6
My 4runner trips occasionally on code 25. I have reset the ECM only to
have it trip 50 - 100km later. The first time it tripped was just after
I cleaned my K&N airfilter. It has tripped under acceleration and while
cruising on the hwy. I have tried fuel injector cleaner to no avail.

electrical connection pins.  I have been informed by a local Toyota
dealer that the air bag sensor part number is unigue to the 96 and 97
98 Camry cabin air filter?31 Oct 2005 12:41 GMT1
Does a 98 Camry CE have a cabin air filter?  I've looked around the web
and definitely can't find one as a replacement part.  I can't find one
in the car, under the hood or behind the glove box.  It also was not
mentioned in the owners manual or my Haynes guide.  Of course the

'03 4Runner V8 - Black exhaust residue - something to be concerned?30 Oct 2005 23:33 GMT2
Hi all.  I am noticing my '03 4Runner V8's exhaust pipe has a small amount
of black carbon built-up.  It could be easily wiped clean.  Is this
something to be concerned?  I also own a '01 4Runner, and it's exhaust is
clean as the day I drove it off the lot.
funny TV spot: Toyota dealers go to a RAVE30 Oct 2005 19:43 GMT6
This TV spot is currently airing across Ontario and features two Toyota
dealers in suites attending a rave to 'better understand their
customers'.  It's silly, and funny.. especially if you were ever into
the rave scene.  Check it out:
Windshield water reserve30 Oct 2005 17:55 GMT1
I have just purchased a 2001 Echo and the washer on the wipers will not
work.  I can not hear the pump trying to work and all hoses are open.  All
fuses appear to be in good operation.  Is the pump on the reserve shot?  If
so how big a deal is it to replace it?
Mr. Transmission rip-offs30 Oct 2005 15:04 GMT4
Be very aware of using the Mr. Transmission franchise for auto repairs. I
learned my leason when I was over $3000 poorer and had to have the dealer
fix my vehicle when they got through with it.

Clutch Replacement - 93 Toyota PickUp (2 Wheel Drive)29 Oct 2005 23:43 GMT13
I am going to replace my clutch this weekend on my 93 Toyota Pickup. It
is a 2 wheel drive and as basic as they came in that year. There is a
package that I can buy at Napa and I think it is like $150.00. I have
two questions
Special tool for '94 Tercel Head bolts?29 Oct 2005 22:43 GMT3
I'm trying to fix a bad valve on my '94 Tercel. I've got everything all
disconnected to pull the head out except for the head bolts themselves,
which have me stymied. The bolts are innies (i.e. you have to stick
something in them to turn them), but they're not hex - they have ...
2005 Echo - does it exist29 Oct 2005 07:46 GMT26
The dealers in my area are saying that either the 2005 or 2006 Echo
doesn't exist, or that they're just not being sold in my region -
Connecticut, USA.
Is anyone getting them?
