OK Break's Over...12 Nov 2005 20:21 GMT22
FINALLY! Something meaningful!
"Help Desk."
Hopefully THIS one won't be shipped off to India in 3-4 years! (Actually,
they are coming back...paying low wages for phone answerers who then have
Changing a wing mirror on a 1998 Hiace12 Nov 2005 15:38 GMT1
I've just got a new wing mirror for my hiace van but not sure how to remove
the inside of the passenger door so I can reach the fixings for the wing
mirror. Any suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks.

Wiper arm needs adjustment?11 Nov 2005 23:31 GMT16
On my 2003 Highlander, the driver-side wiper blade drags on the
upstroke, smearing the windshield and making a
squealing/chattering/crunching noise.  Very annoying.
On the downstroke, it's perfect.  I've changed the blade a couple
Actual Toyota question11 Nov 2005 23:27 GMT3
I have a 2000 Camry where the fan switch only works on off or high.  Has
this happened to anyone else?  I haven't started taking it apart yet, but I
assume it's just the switch.  If anyone knows of a quick test, please let me
know.
Seat fabric stain removal?11 Nov 2005 20:41 GMT5
Do any of you dealership pros know a good, and preferably easy, way to
remove a coffee stain from a cloth TRD seat?  It's not a heavy stain,
but it's noticeable.
I want to keep this truck 'till it's dust, so I'd like to get the stain out.
CAT Back Exhaust?11 Nov 2005 19:47 GMT19
My car, whose brand shall remain nameless, has a bad exhaust system
(rusty pipes, muffler can't do its job, etc).  Mechanic said it needs
to be replaced from the catalyst to the tailpipe.  Now, I typically hit
ebay to buy parts for my car -- haven't been let down yet -- and have
Tires for 2000 Avalon11 Nov 2005 13:34 GMT7
I am planning to replace the tires on my 2000 Avalon XL.  Because of the
type of car it is, I am looking for an emphasis on ride comfort and low
noise.  Of course, handling and tread wear must be acceptable as well.  I
live in the desert in Southern California, so bad weather ...
Check Light Again11 Nov 2005 06:50 GMT16
For the third time, my check light came on again.  This time I did not
go to the dealer but went to a shop that has done work on my husbands
cars and my old one.  The mechanic found that the problem was with the
VVT System, a problem Toyota issued a bulletin on back in May 2003.
Help - 2000 Camry fan switch partially working?11 Nov 2005 05:16 GMT1
I have a 2000 Camry where the fan switch only works on off or high.  Has
this happened to anyone else?  I haven't started taking it apart yet, but I

Please help!  97 Avalon radio security code...11 Nov 2005 04:28 GMT2
I recently bought a 97 Avalon XLS from the original owner.  It's got only
34,000 miles on it and I'm really happy with it so far.  I plan to drive
this car for many years.
Only problem is that the battery died on her a few years ago, and she didn't
vibe/matrix gas mileage problems11 Nov 2005 00:51 GMT13
I just got a 2003 Vibe, 5 speed, with 27K miles.  Great car!  However,
for the last two tanks of gas (since I bought the car), I've been
averaging only 26 miles per gallon.  Mostly, but not entirely, city
driving. That's with a K&N air filter, which increased the mileage of
97 camry recirculation duct location10 Nov 2005 22:53 GMT18
I'm trying to eliminate odors within the venting system.  The
directions tell me to spray this stuff into the return duct under the
passenger dash area but I can't find it.  I have removed the plastic
panel that hides the blower motor and can see pretty much everything
Corolla parking-brake idiot lights10 Nov 2005 21:30 GMT14
My wife has several times now driven long distances
after forgetting to release the parking brake on
her 2004 Corolla sedan.  She claims that the layout
