Recall of Echo (Rare, I know...)31 Dec 2005 21:49 GMT2
Of the floor panels, effective until April 30, 2008.
I'm so relieved they're going to fix that, since mine looks like sh.t from
years of that terrible factory-issued mat sliding all over the place (I
replaced it with another brand), and of course it's been driven by my son.
00 Sienna Misfiring31 Dec 2005 20:52 GMT36
Noticing the engine light on, I took my sienna to autozone for
diagnosis.  They informed me that there were multiple engine misfires
and to change the plugs.  I changed cylinders 2,4,6,and 5...but am
having a hard time with 1 & 3 as they are against the firewall under
Is it the Starter?31 Dec 2005 20:10 GMT4
My 98 RAV4, 4 wheel drive 4 door, has trouble starting.
It is not the battery. [Fully charged, 2 years old, with car off the
headlights stay on full for a long long time]
First it just clicks when you turn the key. Sometimes it starts to crank
MPG info on 2000 Avalon31 Dec 2005 17:44 GMT12
My father-in-law has a 2000 Avalon and says that the onboard computer
that calculates his gas mileage only works up till he turns off his
car. Then it resets. Every car I've seen that has an mpg calculation
on board has both instant mpg and average mpg (which you must manually
I'm back bitches!31 Dec 2005 04:38 GMT12
Had a great holiday in Thailand. Some nice opium bars and teen hookers.
The hillmeister was definitely in the house if you know what I mean. So
what did y'all do for the most sacred of holidays?

1997 Avalon
Is this a simple fix? Dealership tried to charge me $400 for sensor...
Thanks in advance...
1988 Toyota Corolla Hatch Back - losing gas31 Dec 2005 03:36 GMT6
I bought this car brand new back in 1988 and I still love driving it.
I've only driven in around town so it only has 120,000 mile on it, but
it is starting to having a few problems. Just recently, I've noticed
that it is going through gas at an accelerated rate. It usually gets
T-100 block heater alternative31 Dec 2005 00:04 GMT7
I have had a block heater in my 95 T-100 for several years. This is the
type of block heater that fits in where a freeze plug used to be. The
heater is leaking around the gasket and will not tighten probably due to
it's age.
Is it good time to buy Highlander?30 Dec 2005 21:21 GMT4
Noticed the local dealer is no longer that tough on 2006 Highlander Hybrid
recently.  Probably there is an $1000 from Toyota.
I am wondering if I should wait for the new 2007 Highlander--it will be a
total new style with much more HP @280
safety pad30 Dec 2005 19:56 GMT3
Is here anyone to exlain what does  "safety pad" mean in the
expression:" instrument panel safety pad"?  What does it look like?
What material is it made of? Why  does it anything to do with safety?
I am not a native user of English, that's why I'm asking.
When should change timing belt on Toyota Tacoma30 Dec 2005 16:28 GMT4
Is it absolutely necessary to change a timing belt on a Toyota Tacoma
with 95,000 miles? Or can i go a bit longer with this belt? Thanks.
Echo Super Brakes30 Dec 2005 08:23 GMT4
I like my 2000 Echo but would like better brake performance.  Does
anyone here have after market extra strong, long lasting brakes that
they can recommend???
Toytoa Truck 85 Blower fan30 Dec 2005 05:51 GMT2
Just replaced my resistor on my blower.  I was losing speeds before the
thing conked out.  Now I need to know how do I know if the fan is broken or
if the switch or relay is at fault?  When I use the switch there is an
electrical click.  Does this indicate that power is going ...
Finding a temporary spare for my Sienna30 Dec 2005 04:35 GMT17
I love the Sienna AWD, but hate the run flats.  Barely 30k miles and
almost no tread, and I don't trust the things for out of town trips.
I need snow tires but don't want any more run flats.  Finding decent
tires to fit is not a problem, but I can't locate a temporary spare.
100 years of Ford progress and ... deception30 Dec 2005 04:16 GMT5
This is a GREAT read!  Learn about Ford's deception and lack of innovation
from the very beginning!
