Expected bearing life in '90 Camry14 Dec 2005 05:58 GMT5
The lady in my life bought a new 4 cylinder Camry in 1990 and has given
it good care since then, with it looking like new since a repaint.
Due to a broken cooling hose and overlooked instruments, it overheated
and seems to have a warped head, or at least a bad gasket. It stumbles
A date which will live in Infamy14 Dec 2005 05:51 GMT79
Yeah, I drive Toyotas.
I sent a LOT of my hard earned US dollars to Japan since 1974.
But I will NEVER forget the 2,389 killed in the sneak attack on Pearl
Harbor on December 7th, 1941.
99 Corolla stoplight problem14 Dec 2005 05:48 GMT3
I have a 99 corolla that has a stoplight problem. The left light
isn't working although the bulb is good. I can't do much tracing
but there is no power to the socket. Anyone have any experience
with the wiring? Is there a fuse for each bulb or a wiring diagram

Celica Sx Mods13 Dec 2005 22:06 GMT6
Hey Y'all,
Just wondering what, if any. mods I could do to my stock sx to increase its

anything for a while, but i'm just interested in what I can do.
1989 P/U 22r engine hesitation/bucking13 Dec 2005 16:41 GMT2
Recently I have noticed that my p/u when cruising at 60 or above
begins to hesitate and bucking so bad that I have to shut the car off
let it sit and then drive again and then it does it again.  Then if it
sits for a while it runs fine for a few days and does it again.:  So
I DECLARE SPANK ON DAVE HILLSTROM (MEOW BITCH!)13 Dec 2005 06:18 GMT210
That little punk hasn't been heard from in days. I humbly share this
spank with Onideus Mad Diaper and Fly "chingasos" Cooter.

Does my old car still exist?13 Dec 2005 05:10 GMT2
My favorite car was my bought-from-new 1977 Corolla SR5 Grey (Silver,
it was called, but it was metalic grey) Hatchback. That was in the
SF/SJ area of California.
I added a Blaupunct Am / fm / casette above the stock radio, electric
A Deadly Insult13 Dec 2005 04:53 GMT12
On the way back to the office from lunch, I stopped at the Gas'n'Git to fill
up and grab an afternoon cup of joe.
I pulled up, grabbed the nozzle and hit the '87' button.  A few moments
later, over the speakers I heard, "Caravan on pump 5, go ahead" and the pump
'89 Corolla SR5 manual antenna mast repair (will this work?)13 Dec 2005 04:29 GMT3
The antenna mast on my '89 Corolla SR5 got bent and broken off during a
recent blizzard in Boston (my bad for not retracting it before the
storm came).
Anyhow, the way it broken, there's about 4 inches sticking out of the
Highlander drives smoother with TRAC and OD off ?12 Dec 2005 23:58 GMT2
It seems that some small annoyances with transmission on '06 highlander
lessen or go away when i disable TRAC and OD ?
Is this possible ? anyone experience these problems ?
The symptoms are hard to reproduce reliably so i have not been able to show
Intermitant starting problem (2002 Tundra)12 Dec 2005 21:23 GMT1
Occasionally, I have a problem where I hear a repeated clicking noise
when I
go to start the engine. Not a single click. And it isn't the same sound

Rear widow defogger12 Dec 2005 18:40 GMT1
I had the rear window of a 2001 camry replaced.  Now the defogger does
not work.  Is there a plug-in somewhere that may not have been attached?
Quick help on a stop light switch12 Dec 2005 16:57 GMT1
I was wondering if anyone could confirm a rough price for replacing a
1988 toyota corolla executive (UK) stop light switch. Personally i
would have thought it would cost about £10-£20. Is this right. I am
about to get the car MOT'd and yesterday noticed the lights weren't
