'95 Toyota Corrola12 Dec 2005 16:41 GMT4
Lately, when I go to start the car, absolutely nothing happens when I turn
the key for a moment or two and then ignition.  Today, it did absolutely
nothing for 10 seconds and then fired and started.  Does anyone know what
the problem is?
Wiring difference 00 & 01 Camry12 Dec 2005 03:57 GMT1
Greets.
I had the fun of installing a trunk relay in my 01 Camry LE today.  Not
a lot of room in there, and needs a nice strong pull.  Ended up using
the emergency latch.. Evenso was a bitch until I stretched the spring a
Toyota Camry Oil Gelling or Oil Sludging12 Dec 2005 03:52 GMT21
I own a 1999 Toyota Camry which I suspect has fallen victim of the oil
gelling or sludging that is common on these vehicles.  I discovered the
problem several years ago and ran a detergent for over 1.5 years to
rememdy the condition and remove old deposits.  This was before I heard
American Airlines shooting12 Dec 2005 00:27 GMT77
Anyone have any comments if the air marshals pulled the trigger to quickly?
I guess if someone is reaching in a back pack, and just announced he had a
bomb, you really dont have a choice but shoot him in the head. However, they
shot this guy in the entry way to the plane, away ...
The Dealership dance11 Dec 2005 22:33 GMT22
Well, I did the Edmunds thing of contacting several
dealerships in one fell swoop via Edmunds' internet form.
The first dealership located 100 miles away quoted me
$18,200 (including doc. fee) for a new '06 automatic Camry LE.
Question on hybrid cars11 Dec 2005 19:28 GMT16
I don't own a hybrid, but have had a question about them on my mind:
We know that on hybrid cars like the Prius, during braking the battery is
recharged as the wheels act like generators. But I wonder about two things:
- Is there a conventional braking system pressing metal against ...
2003 Sienna - Dome Lights11 Dec 2005 06:43 GMT1
My front and middle dome lights are burnt out.  Is assume it is the bulbs as
it seems that there is more than these lights on the fuse.
Any idea of how to access the two front dome lights?  Is it as simple as
putting a knife between the cover and the frame to push back the stop?
91 celica electrical problem11 Dec 2005 06:29 GMT5
I have a 91 celica GT 2.2L and am having problems some electrical
problems, I'm not sure if they're related.  I think they are.  The
problems I'm having are the dome light doesn't come on when the door
is open but it works when set to the on position, but when it is set
Toyota and the cold11 Dec 2005 06:20 GMT39
I got off the train last night to walk back to my 4runner, and as I am
walking, a GMC Yukon (brand new because I knew the guy) and an older Ford
f-150 both were cranking away, and could not start their vehicles. It was 4
degrees Fahrenheit according to my thermometer. I opened ...
89 Camry No Brake Lights!11 Dec 2005 00:50 GMT4
The orange "lights" warning light on the dash came on and all of my
brake lights even the 3rd brake light in the window suddenly stopped
working.  Tail lights and all others work.  What would be the likely
cause of this?  Brake pedal switch gone bad?  How can I test it?  I
Local Promotion11 Dec 2005 00:29 GMT1
Got a card from my Toyota dealer - says if I go in for a test drive,
they will mail me a gift card worth $30.  The cars being shown were all
real big - Toyota 4x4s and Siennas etc.  If I tried to drive one of
those big things through their parking lot they would pay me to get out
What were they thinking10 Dec 2005 22:09 GMT2
Just saw a "Assender" (by Isuzu I think).  What were they
thinking.

Power used by demist, headlights &c?10 Dec 2005 17:18 GMT21
Here in the UK we have been experiencing the slow onset of wintry
weather along with earlier nightfalls and I have been noticing an
interesting variation in my car's fuel consumption.  That it is a
Prius is probably not very important; but it does keep me advised
Rim authentication?10 Dec 2005 03:41 GMT6
Was tracking down a vibration problem and found a bent rim.  I'd like
to go to a salvage yard to get a replacement, but want to stay OEM.
How can I tell if the rim they give me is OEM Toyota? and for my '99
Avalon?  (I've never seen a rim off of my current car, without the
05 corolla rear tire 10 Dec 2005 03:22 GMT5
Try to do tire rotation on 2005 Corolla CE but the rear rim are still
'locked'  to the hub after unscrewing 6 lug nuts.
Please advise.
Best regards,
