{OT} Need New Leaf Vac31 Mar 2006 22:40 GMT41
Does anyone have an opinion on Echo brand? I looked at their $199 blower/vac
combo and I like how the catcher bag is located compared to my old Barracuda
I've had for many years.  I must have got fed up with the bag ripping and
tossed it out because I can't find it.LOL!! I do ...
Fuel No Longer Business Deductable31 Mar 2006 15:42 GMT1
In anticipation of further tighter supplies and possible out an out
shortages Congress is mulling over wisely deleting fuel use deductions for
businesses who have resisted incorporating hybrids in at least 35% of their
fleet.
Prius and Insight question31 Mar 2006 08:16 GMT24
We have a number of Prius and Insights in the parking lot at work. Being
that this is Vermont, which is like Northampton but Not Gay, this is not
surprising.
There is an area of the parking lot near the smoking area for parking
Previa oxygen sensor31 Mar 2006 08:06 GMT3
This is my first post on this site
My 91 Previa burns too much fuel and there's a bit of black carbon on
the end of the exhaust pipe. I'm pretty sure I need to replace the
oxygen sensor. My question is do I need to replace both sensors or just
4-runner heater control problem31 Mar 2006 05:00 GMT1
My girlfriend has a 2002 4-runner "Limited". The controls for the heater are
becoming unresponsive. You sometimes have to push a control many times, or
hold it down for many seconds to get the function to operate. She has been
told by the dealer that this problem requires a new ...
Good Toyota mechanic in Tampa or Temple Terrace area?31 Mar 2006 04:57 GMT5
I have a 1990 Toyota Camry. In mid Feb, my car died, so I called to
have it towed. By the time the tow guy came, it actually started. Took
it to the Pep Boys (on FL, I think).
They did a test, and told me I had a bad Alternator, and they gave me
1993 camry Spark Plugs covered in snow deposit31 Mar 2006 01:05 GMT7
I usually buy old cars and do what it takes to keep them going.  The
latest purchase is a 5spd 4cyl dohc 93 camry.   I got it at 188k and I
dont think it was carefully maintained by the last owner (proly shoulda
shopped more, but it was a 5spd).  Last timing belt change sticker

{OT}  head son  -->joke<--30 Mar 2006 19:40 GMT3
A man is waiting for wife to give birth. The doctor comes in and

transmission rumble30 Mar 2006 18:38 GMT4
I have a 1995 4 runner with auto transmission. When sitting idle or
decelerating there is an audible rumble under the transmission. I took
it to the shop and they said that drive shaft was bent and the
compression plate holding it to the transmission was loose. They

'02 Highlander 'check engine' light30 Mar 2006 16:44 GMT5
I have an '02 Highlander with almost 60K miles.  Four days ago my
"check engine" light came on.  I thought it was the gas tank cap so I
opened it up & tightend it.  Still didn't go away.  So last night my
brother took it to AutoZone for me to get the code & the
7-AFE Engine30 Mar 2006 13:26 GMT9
I would like to change the coolant. I HAVE found the coolant outlet at
at the bottom of the radiator, but where is the outlet valve located on
the engine block? My Haynes manual doesn't indicate that. Does anyone
know?
Saw one of these today, up close and personal!30 Mar 2006 12:00 GMT4
Lotus Exige.
It's sort of a Toyota Celica with an aluminum/monocoque/plastic frame and
body. The owner of the local Aubuchon Hardware, and a Lotus/BMW freak
bought it a month ago. It has 700 miles.
