help with echo rear wheel hub removal10 Apr 2006 15:44 GMT5
would like some advice with my '02 echo rear wheel bearing.  I've removed
the 4 bolts from the back and the drum and hit the hub with a rubber mallet.
I then put the wheel back on (and kicked it!) and it still wouldn't budge.
Any ideas??
Pre-mature tire wear on rear problem10 Apr 2006 09:33 GMT4
Last year I got 4 new tires, 2 front and 2 rear.  BF Goodrich traction
t/a.
Seem like nice tires.
In one year I have about 12K miles on them.  The car is FWD (Corolla).
Handbrake problem10 Apr 2006 06:10 GMT1
While I was putting my summer tires on my 95 Tercel I noticed I could
turn one of my back wheels even though the handbrake was pulled tight,
the other wheel was not moveable.
Took the covers off the brakes to be able to compare one side to the
Hybrids, not as great as we thought10 Apr 2006 03:39 GMT51
I was reading recently that Hybrids were not as fuel economic as
stated. It had something to do with the way they tested fuel economy
and how it was nowhere near similar to what actually goes on while
driving.  Do you think maybe they are slanting things just a little or
Prius now slightly cheaper to run in UK10 Apr 2006 03:03 GMT3
Today's Budget speech by the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer held
some mildly good news for Prius owners in Britain.  Its 104gm/Km
CO2 production rate has earned it a reduction in annual Road Tax
(tax charge on vehicles used on public roads) from GBP75/year to
Tercel Horn Problem09 Apr 2006 23:59 GMT7
I have a 1982 Toyota Tercel with a horn that doesn't work.  I have checked
the fuse (which services both the hazard lights and the horn).  The fuse is OK.
I currently have access to the entire steering wheel where I see two wires
(one black and one white) each going to a contact ...

2006 Corolla - fuel economy09 Apr 2006 18:33 GMT13
Good day,
I'm seeking the opinion of Toyota Corolla drivers out there.
My wife and I just bought a 2006 Corolla last month. We've very happy
with the car overall, as we expected we'd be (it's our fifth Toyota
1988 Supra Rear Hatch Strut replacement09 Apr 2006 15:48 GMT19
I don't want to screw up anything. Does anyone know how to remove the
hatchback Struts??  According to some generic instructions on the
replacement struts, it says to remove from the end with the ball on it.
There is supposed to be some type of clips you pry off. I don't see any
Corolla vs. Mazda 309 Apr 2006 02:42 GMT11
I've been looking at both these cars a fair bit lately... i'll pobably
buy one that is a year or two old... I currently have a 98 Corolla and
love it, my mother in law has a 2004 mazda 3 and loves it... For the
features I want they will probably cost about the same... which way to
"Open Door" light comes on when it rains09 Apr 2006 01:18 GMT5
I've noticed ever since I bought my Corolla new in 2003 that when I'm
driving in wet or rainy conditions, the little red "open door" light starts
glowing, very dimly at first, then brightens gradually, but never gets to
even half as bright as it is when I actually open a door.
