Do worn struts cause steering issues?30 May 2006 12:15 GMT5
I have a 99 Solara 5spd v6 at 101k with some play in the steering wheel
and won't stay aligned.  Its not excessive, but its like its got 2
wheel positions. With one, the steering wheel is straight and the car
drives straight, then when I'm in a turn or a curve, its like the wheel

What is the 2000 Sienna towing capacity?29 May 2006 19:27 GMT3
The 2000 Toyota Sienna manual says the towing capacity is 2000 or 3500
with towing package.  How can I tell if the vehicle has the towing
package?
The transmission cooler seems to cover the entire front of the
Be glad you own a Toyota!29 May 2006 19:26 GMT61
On a 4-mile trip tonight I passed two guys pushing a dead Corvette through
an intersection (no lights at all) .  About a mile further down the road I
passed a big 4 X 4 Silverado (compensating style) stopped at another
intersection.  The driver was standing on the curb talking on ...
ATF change in 92 toyota corolla29 May 2006 18:02 GMT2
A couple of months back when I went to get my oil changed at Jiffy
Lube, they strongly recommended that I change the automatic
transmission fluid on my 92 Toyota Corolla.  The car has 134 K miles on
it.  They estimated that it would cost me $100.  Some people I've

Does it matter which dealer you buy a new T from?29 May 2006 16:01 GMT24
Does it matter which dealer you buy a new Toyota from?
Would I be giving up on some kind of after sale service if I never go
back after the sale but go elsewhere for maintenance?
My nearest T dealer also has a GM dealership and what they call a
Leaking water from Wipers29 May 2006 06:23 GMT2
I have noticed that there is constant leak of water. It drips down from
the panel underneath the wipers. I am wondering if this is something
that can be fixed at home.
Change Serpentine Belt....Now a knocking Noise...Please Help29 May 2006 06:12 GMT1
I changed the serpentine belt on a 2003 Toyota 4 cyl Camry.  I
compressed the belt tensioner, pulled the old belt off and slipped the
new one on.  Now there's a knocking, rattleing, grinding noise.  It
sounds like it's near the belt tensioner.  Anyone ever had a similar
Transmission oil change29 May 2006 00:22 GMT11
I know this has been asked before but I would like to get Ray O's take
on this.  I have an 01 Prism with 45,000 miles and would like to change
the transmission oil.  Some say that you should flush or all the oil
doesn't get changed BUT this could stir up "stuff" that is better off

I'm losing about 6 oz of power steering fluid every 2 days from my 97

there is usually a noticable puddle.  One mechanic has said that the
leak is from the power sterring rack and pinion.  will mechanics
