Anybody know if there are any chiltons/haynes/etc type workshop manuals available for the Toyota Matrix, and where they might be bought? I just brought home my new 2006 matrix, and intend to do all and any maintenance myself...

| 2006 Corolla airbag light | 28 May 2006 18:15 GMT | 4 |
I bought the car new about 2 weeks ago. I traded in a 1985 Volvo 240 DL sedan that I had for 6 years so I'm not used to all this airbag stuff. Anyways..I noticed that there is a front passenger light that says "Airbag" that stays on all the time when the key is on. There are also

It was opening night at the Orpheum and the Amazing Claude was topping the bill. People came from miles around to see the famed hypnotist do his stuff. As Claude took to the stage, he announced, "Unlike most stage hypnotists who invite two or three people up onto the stage to be

| Ping Ray O and Hachiroku -- need some Supra assistance | 28 May 2006 06:19 GMT | 10 |
I'm trying to increase the performance on my 94 Supra Turbo (my Viper Killer) so I'm consulting your mechanical sagacity. I believe it has sufficient power now while staying street legal. I've already put it on a diet before and would like to lose some more to improve all areas

| 1984 Toyota Tercel FWD/4WD workshop manual | 27 May 2006 22:39 GMT | 2 |
Can anyone tell me if a workshop manual can be found on the net for above car, or if anyone has one for sale. I bought this car two weeks ago and I do all my own mechanical work apart from specialised work. Only problem is that I am in Australia and it's damn hard to find where to ...

| A/C idle-up not working on 22RE | 26 May 2006 23:43 GMT | 2 |
My toyota pickup used to idle faster when turning on the air conditioner, now it doesn't. I know it's controlled by the big hex screw, but turning it while the a/c is on doesn't make any difference. Is it something I can take apart and clean if need be, or do I have to

| {OT} farm -->joke<-- | 26 May 2006 19:06 GMT | 2 |
A Texas rancher, visiting a South Dakota farmer friend, asked him to show him his farm. After seeing the 1,000 acre spread, the Texan bragged that down home he could get into his car, drive all day, and by evening would not have gotten to the distant point of his ranch.

| Hybrids | 26 May 2006 19:05 GMT | 25 |
Are Hybrids better overall and will they be the wave of the future...sort of like regular TV being taken over by HDTV? Better trade in that gas only car now before it's too late and nobody wants it...LOL

| Engine sludge? | 26 May 2006 18:08 GMT | 31 |
I have a 2000 Camry at 60000 miles. Today when I checked the engine oil while the car is cold, there is sludge at the tip of the dipstick, as small as a sesame. I wiped it off and dipped it again. It again had some sludge at the tip,

| Timing Belt for 2000 Camry | 26 May 2006 17:09 GMT | 7 |
My 2000 camry needs a new timing belt...~95K miles. I'm a pretty good home mechanic. Is this something I can do myself? If so, can anyone recommend some good literature on the topic? I'm using a Haynes manual and it isn't as detailed as I would like.

| the best brakepads/shoes | 26 May 2006 16:35 GMT | 16 |
OK so if one is to lay off the transmission/clutch, and use the less expensive braking system to control the speed of the car, well.. the only way I'm going to do that is if I can make hitting the brake feel the same as it does in a Cadillac.

| Question about moving with 94 Corolla | 26 May 2006 07:55 GMT | 7 |
Hi. I have a 94 Toyota Corolla, and I will be moving from North Carolina to Tennessee. I will load up my Corolla pretty well with my stuff (trunk, backseat, floor boards), but won't tow anything. The car runs fine, but I was a little worried about crossing the mountains with
