Is frozen windshield washer fluid a problem?
Today at Kmart I saw a bargain 1 gal for $1.39 but in small print it
said do not use below 32degF.
This could do some real damage.

one tire hot and smells07 Jun 2006 22:07 GMT3
my front driver-side tire smelled funny and was very warm today.  i
recently had body work done and think maybe that could have something to
do with it seeing as there was no problem prior.  I also noticed that when
I am braking (not always but sometimes) there is a "shifting" sound ...

AC vent blowing chunks07 Jun 2006 17:04 GMT14
The right passenger side AC vent in my 99 Camry started blowing out
bits of black, very sticky foam-like material whenever the AC is on.
They go all over the car, in my eyes, etc.  I also saw a piece of the
stuff about the size of a matchbook in behind the louvers of the vent.
Break-in 06 Sienna CE07 Jun 2006 14:24 GMT24
As part of the 'glad-handing' tour at the dealership I was introduced
to the 'service manager' and I took the opportunity to ask his opinion
on breaking-in the new Sienna CE that I was just purchasing.
He stated NONE was needed!  I then asked if it was OK to load up the
Corolla hood not closing07 Jun 2006 14:08 GMT8
I have 1998 toyota corolla around 91000 miles on it. Last few months
when I open hood to check oil dip stick I have hard time closing it. It
stays open around an inch or so. After a few attemps the hood will
close. Any idea what might be wrong?
2002 Sienna stalls when engine is cold07 Jun 2006 13:16 GMT3
I have a 2002 Sienna. It runs great until recently. When the engine is cold,
I need to pump the gas pedal and turn the key to start the engine. After the
engine is ignited, I release both the key from START position and the gas
pedal, then the idle drops to zero quickly and the ...
Installing air conditioner in 2003 Corolla07 Jun 2006 06:23 GMT6
I am interested in installing an air conditioner in my 2003 Corolla.  I
originally purchased this car without an air conditioner.
Is this possible?  If so about how much would it cost?  Is this
something I can do myself or do I need to pay someone to install it?
90 Corolla Wagon not working up to par07 Jun 2006 05:05 GMT1
Got a 1990 Toyota Corolla Wagon 1.6L EFI Manual, and before we laid
it up to drive a new car for the summer, she started acting up.
(Studdering While Accelerating, n stuff like that)  But after driving for
20km+ it seems to work its self out.  The plugs, wires, rotor&Cap were

Any kind of protective wax on a new car.06 Jun 2006 22:40 GMT21
Typically - is a new car coated with any kind of protective wax when
sold by the dealer?
I generally wash mine every six months or so - even if not really
needed.
Loose Hood06 Jun 2006 22:19 GMT17
I have a 96 Tacoma and there is about 1/8 - 3/16 play in the hood when
it's fully latched.  When I get up to speeds around 40mph or above the
hood shakes and it makes me a little nervous.  I'm fairly confident that
the latch is going to hold it in place but I would like to figure ...

What would cause an alternator in a 1989 Camry to spark?06 Jun 2006 21:47 GMT1
Was driving one day and the car stalled out.  Was able to restart it
and get home, but it wouldn't start again after that.  Was able to jump
it, but noticed sparks and smoke coming out of the alternator.  What
would cause this.  I've read that the brushes wearing out is a common
