| Setting Idle on 1982 Toyota Corolla | 14 Jul 2006 19:20 GMT | 2 |
Hey guys, I have a quick question. My friend has an 82 Corolla that can't get through DEQ because it's idling at some insane number like 1200 or so (which is where my bike idles, by the way. And my bike redlines at 11, so...this Corolla has got problems). I need to adjust

I am now in possession of my deceased (about 6 months ago) mom-in-law's Tercel. While there are numerous problems with the car, about which I'll be asking you good folks later, one of the things I noticed is the engine seems to be really wound tight at 60 - 70 mph.

| Toyota driveaxle | 14 Jul 2006 04:40 GMT | 5 |
I just replaced the driveaxle on the left side of a 1994 Corolla. Since replacing it, the car seems to have developed a noisy front end. It sounds like tire/road noise, but after rotating tires there is no change in noise. When ordering the new axle I was not given the choice ...

I went to Consumer Reports site and checked out Toyota Echo, and the MPG rating is 38 for the manual trans. but they didn't evaluate the automatic version. Is this car too underpowered with auto trans, and how much less MPG do you get? I am looking into buying a 2002 Echo

| Full-size spare questions | 12 Jul 2006 16:04 GMT | 15 |
I want to have a full size spare on hand in my 2005 Toyota Corolla. I sometimes travel to some pretty remote spots (Death Valley, Mono Lake, etc.) that are some distance from the nearest sizable town and would hate to be stuck with a tiny spare I can't go very far on.
