Last month I bought a new 2006 Corolla LE with the 5-speed manual transmission. I was surprised to find it didn't have the maplights under the rear-view mirror (the car I test-drove had that option but I eventually ending up buying this one at a different dealer).

Anyone know if the AM/FM Cassestte/Stereo Receiver that comes in the 97 Corolla has pre-amp outputs for an external amplifyer? Mine is the one with the CD player as a seperate unit below the Radio. Thanks!

I've read through the archives but I haven't seen a lot about how to maintain a low-mileage Toyota; specifically, what wears out with age? I have a '95 Corolla DX with only 53,000 miles, which I've kept very well maintained, at least according to the mileage-based schedule.
