Sounds like a bucket of scrap metal when I close rear door on Sienna05 Aug 2006 09:29 GMT8
Sounds like I just dropped  a bucket of scrap metal when I close the
rear door on my 06 Sienna.  It is the licence plate, a metal lic.
plate frame and the metal door that are hitting each other.
I want to run a small machine bolt through the center bottom of the

Synthetic oil04 Aug 2006 21:57 GMT7
I have used synthetic oil in my 99 Trooper since new and oil
consumption has been negligable between changes, 3000-5000 miles. This
engine is notorious for oil consumption but this one is an exeption.
The first two oil changes on my 2005 Corolla were done by the dealer at

Fix a Flat04 Aug 2006 15:12 GMT32
In the past I have used Fix A Flat or similar inflate from a can
products to fix 9 out of 10 flats - and who knows how many I never
knew about.
On the can it says "Do not use on tire sensor technology."

Sounds like the power steering pump bearing to me03 Aug 2006 19:44 GMT6
My car just started squealing a little when I start it up. It's barely
noticeable until I actually start to move my car. When I start to pull out
of my parking spot it gets really bad. After less than a 1/4 mile it lets up
and stops doing it unless I make a very hard turn one way ...
CD player, clock, etc doesn't have power.03 Aug 2006 19:26 GMT4
I disassembled the maplight and disconnected it to see if I could close
my sunroof manually. Well, my sunroof is closed, but something curious
happened. None of my interior lights, or my CD player, or my clock
work. The guages and such work fine and so do my headlights, it's just
Brake Rotor Removal03 Aug 2006 16:59 GMT4
My wife's '97 4runner seems to have developed a nice little shake in
the front end when the brakes are applied.  After a little research,
seems we're not the only one!  I would like to replace the pads as well
as have the discs machined, but I'm not too sure how difficult it will

The only fluids I've serviced in my Corolla 94 are the brake, engine
oil, the coolant and the transmission fluid. Do I need to replace the
differential fluid also? Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Tire rotation03 Aug 2006 14:49 GMT1
I rotated the tires front-back on my tC last night (after 6,000 miles).
There was no noticeable uneven or unusual wear on any of the tires and
I have noticed no wheel vibration or pulling to one side, so I was
going to let it go at that unless advised otherwise to have the tires
