'90 Celica Smoking From Under the Hood...13 Sep 2006 14:20 GMT10
Found this forum a year or two ago, and it's been quite helpfull.  i've
only needed one serious repair to this car, since it was new in '89,
and some research here helped quite a bit.  Model year 1990 Celica ST,
with a proud 195,000 miles.
Interchanging US and Japanese parts13 Sep 2006 13:53 GMT9
I have a Japanese built UK registered Toyota Camry (2.2i, 2000
registration but this probably doesn't matter). The tail light is
damaged so I have bought a replacement OEM part (complete with bulbs)
from ebay in the US. The original part was manufactured in Japan and
Tire size and temperature gauge? ('90 Celica)13 Sep 2006 05:20 GMT12
First, I'd like to start off with the status of my leaking heater core
hose. I was thinking of "ghetto rigging" it just to see if the hose
needed replacement. Well, as far as I know, it didn't. I loosened the
clamp a little bit and pushed the hose closer to the firewall. It seems

MR2 clutch won't bleed12 Sep 2006 05:15 GMT2
I have new master and slave cylinders, but they will not build
pressure.  I have been on other forums and people say to "bench bleed"
the master, but I have no idea how to do this.  Can someone tell me how
this is done?  Thanks
Engine Swaps11 Sep 2006 22:46 GMT7
I am going to attempt to swap in a 2jz-gte into my 02 celica,  i am
aware that it is a rear wheel drive engine going into a front wheel
drive car.  I would like any help that is there to be had.  any advice,

97 Camry 4-Cylinder Overheating11 Sep 2006 17:19 GMT10
Previously the 2 electric cooling fans were not turning on even when
the engine was hot. Currently, I have the 2 fans on all the time (by
unplugging two connectors near radiator). Now, overheating only occurs
on hot days when climing hills and is proportional to speed. It is OK
Solara wind noise?11 Sep 2006 16:25 GMT1
How quiet/noisy is your solara.  I'm thinking of getting a 2007 SLE,
but I'm concerned with the frameless windows.  A friend of mine has a
subaru legacy with frameless windows, and there is a lot of wind noise
at high speeds.  Pressing on the window, stops the noise, so I'm sure
high pitched squeak on suspension11 Sep 2006 16:21 GMT3
Hi,  novice has 1994 toyota corolla.  we are being driven mad by a high
pitch squeak that is coming from underneath.   it seems connected to the
suspension. i have squirted WD-40 into the bushes of the anti roll bars, but
no joy.
91 Tercel ?'s11 Sep 2006 15:09 GMT3
I used to post here quite freqently a few years ago but stopped amist a
long drawn out spell where this group was transformed into a political
forum. Hachi remembers what I'm talking about. Anyhow, I recently aquired
another 'Yota and have a few questions about it.
Corrolla Air Filter11 Sep 2006 04:13 GMT4
My Corrolla is due for its first air filter.  I just took mine out and
examined it.  Looks like a pretty nice filter.  Is everyone buying toyota
filters or buying at walmart?
what would you do?11 Sep 2006 02:19 GMT10

My husand drives a 1995 4cyl Toyota Pickup.  Blew the head gasket last
week.  Had it towed to a dealer.  They say head gasket, timing chain,
timing chain cover, water pump and thermostat need to be replaced.
