Leather vs. Fabric for Toyota Camry.11 Sep 2006 01:26 GMT25
Currently, I have a Honda Accord with the fabric seats.
I am thinking of buying 2007 Camry and can't decide whether to buy it
with leather or fabric seats. I recently rented a car with the leather
seats when I was travelling on business and was unpleasantly surprised

Fixing the horn on my '85 Tercel wagon10 Sep 2006 23:59 GMT5
The horn has been working intermittently.  The horn is the center of
the steering wheel variety.  I took off the cover and sanded the
contact points and put it on and it worked great every time again.
Then I looked for the little clip that holds it on with a screw, put it
rubber parts in your US built Toyota10 Sep 2006 19:31 GMT5
My sister in law works in a factory that manufactures rubber hoses and belts
including formulating the rubber from scratch.  Recently they got a major
deal with Toyota and all US built Toyotas use some of their belts and hoses.
I've seen the factory.  Check your hoses and belts ...
Echo owner thinking of buying new car-need advice10 Sep 2006 16:42 GMT23
I currently own a 2000 Echo. It is in excellent shape with just under
60000 miles on it.
I am thinking of trading it in for something else soon, but I'm not
sure what. I want to trade it in while it still  has some trade-in
Walmart synthetic oil and Sllck 5010 Sep 2006 12:15 GMT24
Does anyone have information on how good WalMart 100% synthetic oil is
compared to Mobil 100% synthetic?
And which is better? To use synthetic oil or to use regular oil and

01 Prism rust repair10 Sep 2006 04:06 GMT3
I had a small rust spot (about 1 inch in diameter) on my rear fender.  I
sanded it down to the bare metal and applied a coat of rustoleum.  I
plan to recoat this a few more  times.  It shows but I don't care about
that.  Is this likely to last?
{OT} First day on The View09 Sep 2006 23:32 GMT6
And Rosie O'Donnell's "Wife" was in the audience?
I didn't think Rosie was a Mass Resident...
Mass is the only state in the union where Gay/Lesbian marriage is legal, and
the courts have ruled that you HAVE to be a Mass resident to be married
Wiring information for '06 Matrix09 Sep 2006 22:34 GMT7
I need to install a trailer light power converter, and it would be a
great help if I knew where I could get access to most of the wires in
one place. (I'll have to run a hot wire to the battery, but I can hack
that.) Is there a place I can get a wiring diagram without buying a
The dreaded check engine light09 Sep 2006 17:47 GMT41
I finally got one on my 95 Geo Prizm LSI. It's the first one I've ever had
on a car and I'm already panicky. Strangely it coincided with my running the
car almost out of gas and I was wondering if that could have anything to do
with it. I had less then a half gallon left when I ...
Previa Center Console Lights09 Sep 2006 06:22 GMT6
The lights on the center console where the climate control switches are
located, on my 91 Previa went off a few days ago.  I checked all the
fuses, but couldn't find any blown fuse.  Do you folks know what might
be the problem?
92 corrola with Oh so many issues!!09 Sep 2006 02:56 GMT1
Well i got my lucky little lemon used for about 900, and it had a spot
less engine, "which probably meant it was just cleaned", no noticeable
problems, "which is probably why they coulndn't fidn the dealer plate,
for a longer drive". So i get it home and have my first of many
K&N Air Intake system08 Sep 2006 22:09 GMT10
I have a 2002 Toyota Corolla with nothing but stock stuff.  Would a K&N
air intake system be a  beneficial and/or recommended upgrade?
I've heard they're well worth it.
Buying wiper inserts and oil filters08 Sep 2006 06:37 GMT7
The wipers on my 2000 4-cyl Camry were never changed.  On a rainy day,
I can't see it clearly through the windshield.  I went to Strauss and
find a pair.  But it requires me to cut and fit it on.  Would it be
better to get the exact pair from a Toyota dealer to save me some
