Best shop manual, for 2006 4Runner,  and on-line FAQ ?04 Sep 2006 22:40 GMT5
Best shop manual, for 2006 4Runner ? The major repair manual from the
Toyota dealership or another manual ? I want the best, even if more
technical, detailed and expensive, unless a very available one is
quite just as good and not at a disadvantage in practical use.
Tarzan - the original tree hugger04 Sep 2006 16:31 GMT1
Tarzan had been living alone in his jungle kingdom for 30 years with only
apes for company, and suitably shaped holes in trees for sex.
Jane, a reporter, came to Africa in search of this legendary figure. Deep in
the wilds she came to a clearing and discovered Tarzan vigorously ...
The Dam Ozone hole04 Sep 2006 15:29 GMT101
The Dam "hole" has been there for centuries.  It is only recent that
we can detect it!  We need to watch our waste but to think we are
making sword wide climate change is a bit egotistical.
{OT} Getting plastered04 Sep 2006 10:32 GMT6
The original ceiling vent in the bathroom was this tiny thing that barely
moved air at all.  I dislodged it and replaced it with a much better CFM
unit. Unfortunately, the original was installed so close to the eaves the
new one couldn't fit because the box height hit the roof ...
Toyota Tundra Clanking noise?04 Sep 2006 07:00 GMT3
My 2000 Tundra has makes a metallic clanking sound in the winter when it has
been sitting in the parking lot at work all day long and I leave work at a
certain area of the driveway on the way out from work. It only does it at
work on the way out in the winter sometimes.
2005 Sienna Double Din04 Sep 2006 03:36 GMT8
I am looking at installing a navigation unit (plus radio and maybe
more) in my Sienna.  I am looking to do something that is fairly nice.
I want it to be built into the dash, not stuck on some arm.  I am
considering a few units, the names are not important.  What is
Hesitation?04 Sep 2006 03:16 GMT1
I bought a used 2001 Toyota Corolla LE.  The mileage is around 90,000.
The car is a manual 5 speed.  The problem is that after I start it and
start driving it hesitates for the first half mile or so.  It's like
it's a about to bog out. I have to keep hitting the gas. I press down

the 18" wheels and Vehicle Stabilty Control.

Automatic to push button shift03 Sep 2006 21:35 GMT1

Belts still squeekin' even after replacement? '90 Celica03 Sep 2006 21:34 GMT9
I recently replaced the alternator -- A/C serpentine belt on my '90
Celica. Before, the belt would constantly squeel as I drove. I would
tension the belt but after about a day, it would begin to squeel again.
I decided to replace it and this seemed to solve the problem quite
2003 Corolla, what's up with the belt tensioner?03 Sep 2006 21:27 GMT1
I had to have the belt tensioner replaced twice on my 2003 Corolla, and it
only has 46,000 miles on it.  Shouldn't the belt tensioner last longer than
an average of 23,000 miles?  Hell, the belts last a lot longer than that!!
Is Toyota going to redesign that part so it doesn't ...
How to bypass Lamp Failure Sensor03 Sep 2006 21:09 GMT2
My girlfriend recently bought a 1984 Toyota Camry with 48,000 miles.
GOLD!!!  The rear brake lights did not work. The seller told us that
the Lamp Failure Sensor was broken. I called Toyota and the part is
over 200.00 and takes weeks to order. I have found a miracle bypass
2004 Avalon XLS: replace cabin air filter?03 Sep 2006 18:38 GMT4
2004 Avalon XLS: I thought I'd be a good kid and replace the cabin air
filter, even though from the price it must be made of the same stuff
that's in the cat convertor.
Bosch says to drop the glove box by removing a screw on the right and
Is tune-up the same as maintenance?03 Sep 2006 14:44 GMT1
Pardon me for my dumb question.  I used to have my dealer do
maintenances for my Camry.  Now it's 5 years old, I guess it's
better take it to garage shops to save some dough.  Workers at
Garage shops don't say 'maintenance', instead they ask me when my
