Mice & Air Filter22 Sep 2006 17:42 GMT5
Here's a twist of a question on the effects of mice nesting in the air
filter.  I just picked up a 92 Tercel for my daughter. It's got 80K
miles, and runs pretty well. No odd noises. No blue smoke.  I did a
thorough break job (one leaking line, new rear shoes and turned drums,

Compressor won't come back on after going off in heavy rain. Trying to
find fuse under dash, it's on the diagram but no slot on panel. Where
the heck is the fuse and do you think it is my problem? Thanks,  Jeff
"Better" intake on '90 Celica?22 Sep 2006 16:36 GMT9
The '90 Celica that I have is an ST. I really like the car even though
it is a bit slow. Lately I have been wondering if there is ANYTHING I
could do to increase it's poor acceleration speed. One thing I was
thinking of was changing the stock intake to something "a little more

Ping: Ray: Seat Extenders?22 Sep 2006 02:06 GMT14
Hey. Ray, I know that for some model Toys there were seat rail extenders
available.
What seemed odd to me was that they were only available for some models.
Aren't all the seat rails pretty much the same?

Scion xB to be discontinued?22 Sep 2006 01:01 GMT23
Just went to a Toyota/Scion showroom today.  And a salesman told
me that there will be no 2007 Scion xB.  Have anyone heard about
that?  I was utterly surprised, for, according to all the news I have
read in  the past year,  the sales of xB's has been strong.....I have

Bad ECM?22 Sep 2006 00:56 GMT68
Ok... So I posted here a couple of months about about three sensors on
my truck being stuck in not ready status.  (1996 Toyota Tacoma X-Cab,
manual)  I've been patient hoping that it's just a drive cycle issue.
Well I've gone over 2,000 miles and still no go.  They are still "Not ...

I'm sorry that I forgot to post it sooner but I have an update on the
supra project that I asked you about.  Just as a reminder, I wanted to
improve the overall performance of the car so I was trying to find
RAV4 Park Pilot21 Sep 2006 16:53 GMT5
My SO just bought a 2007 RAV4. It is a nice vehicle. Her vehicle has the
"Park Pilot." This is an option that uses ultrasonic sensors to detect
opbjects behind the vehicle when you back up. Apparently it is a distributor
(Southeast Toyota in this case) installed option. Her's ...

Overdid it today!21 Sep 2006 06:06 GMT16
Should have done all this yesterday! It was about 6 degrees cooler, but I
had to get my Reg and Inspection from the dealer.
Put new pads on the POS van, just in time for winter! The old pads were

Can you damage the engine when the RAV4 engine light is on?21 Sep 2006 05:13 GMT2
Hi - if my Rav4 (97 model) engine light comes on should I stop driving
immediately or can I continue driving as it wont be anything major to
cause the engine to blow up?
The car seems to run fine (for it's age) but when the engine light came
