| Resistor pack? '90 Celica | 15 Sep 2006 05:21 GMT | 8 |
OK, so previously I posted a thread about my blower only working when set to "HI." Many of you pointed me to a thread about an '86 Supra with the same issue. Within the thread, it said that it was because the resistor pack had been burned out due to the extreme temperatures that

My friends are all making wagers as to when I get my first ticket, and how long it takes me to forget about the Supra... OK, it's FAST, and it's certainly cool! and it's the first 'new' car I bought for MYSELF in 20 years, but on sunny days I think the Supra still

| Brake woes - still here | 14 Sep 2006 17:24 GMT | 13 |
My front passenger caliper seized (single-pot) on my alltrac, to the point where it could hold me on a 10% slope. I decided to do the job properly and take both calipers off the front, strip to the bone, clean, replace as necessary and re-assemble. I did this. Nothing

| Everyone's asking if my Scion is a Hybrid... | 14 Sep 2006 17:16 GMT | 4 |
From Bruce Bergman in another thread: And you are right Hachi, with a killer stereo, and a scanner, AND both fog and driving lights, now you are getting into oversized alternator needed territory.

You listen to Howie yesterday or today? Here's a little background: Have you heard about Tom Rielly running for Gov. here? Have you ever heard Howie talk about Rielly before? Rielly is the state Atty Gen. It seems whenever a big case comes up

| Mouse story-update | 14 Sep 2006 01:13 GMT | 5 |
After spending over $700 to clean out the mess mice made in my ventilation system I thought I would check to see if any of this was covered by my insurance. I just got the word that they would be sending me a check (minus the $200 deductible). I'm sure glad I checked!

| 2002 Sienna rear door struts | 13 Sep 2006 22:22 GMT | 1 |
The struts that help to open the rear door are a bit rusted now, but since they were new, the operation of them has frequently been very sticky, making it very hard to close the overhead door. Other times they're working as they should, however.

| 4runner rear window | 13 Sep 2006 22:18 GMT | 13 |
My 92 4runner's rear window will only budge 1/8 inch in either direction. It looks like its dropping slightly left rather than straight down, then up slightly to the right when it goes up that fraction of an inch. This was a rust free Georgia vehicle when I bought

| 95 Avalon wet carpet on front passenger floor | 13 Sep 2006 22:17 GMT | 4 |
I've got a 95 Avalon that now has wet carpet on the front passenger floor. I suspected the AC drain and pulled it but it is clear and running something up into the box didn't result in anything either. Any ideas on what to check next? I will probably put the drain hose

Did anyone else get their sticker and new owner's manual in the mail? Like I'm really going to stick a 6x6 bright yellow sticker in the middle of the back wall of my truck. <G> Since I have a sense of responsibility, I will put it somewhere
