Resistor pack? '90 Celica15 Sep 2006 05:21 GMT8
OK, so previously I posted a thread about my blower only working when
set to "HI." Many of you pointed me to a thread about an '86 Supra with
the same issue. Within the thread, it said that it was because the
resistor pack had been burned out due to the extreme temperatures that
HOLY CR@P!!!!!! Is this thing FAST!!!!!!15 Sep 2006 03:10 GMT17
My friends are all making wagers as to when I get my first ticket, and how
long it takes me to forget about the Supra...
OK, it's FAST, and it's certainly cool! and it's the first 'new' car I
bought for MYSELF in 20 years, but on sunny days I think the Supra still
Fit NEW style small strip of bumper15 Sep 2006 00:38 GMT2
How do you fit the NEW style of bumper to a 2033 toyota avensis. Its the
little strip just under the headlights
Brake woes - still here14 Sep 2006 17:24 GMT13
My front passenger caliper seized (single-pot) on my alltrac, to the
point where it could hold me on a 10% slope. I decided to do the job
properly and take both calipers off the front, strip to the bone,
clean, replace as necessary and re-assemble.  I did this. Nothing
Everyone's asking if my Scion is a Hybrid...14 Sep 2006 17:16 GMT4
From Bruce Bergman in another thread:
And you are right Hachi, with a killer stereo, and a scanner, AND
both fog and driving lights, now you are getting into oversized
alternator needed territory.
YO! SCOTT!!!!!14 Sep 2006 13:35 GMT6
You listen to Howie yesterday or today?
Here's a little background: Have you heard about Tom Rielly running for
Gov. here? Have you ever heard Howie talk about Rielly before?
Rielly is the state Atty Gen. It seems whenever a big case comes up
{OT} The 'teacher'.14 Sep 2006 13:33 GMT4
From a response to Scott in another thread:

1996 Toyota Avalon 14 Sep 2006 05:16 GMT1
I have a 1996 Avolon I just bought . I need the radio that go's on top of the
cd player . Someone has taken the radio but left the cd player . And I have
no clue of where to find this at , or what radio it needs . I am guessing it
is an am/fm cassette .
What tires does a new corolla come with?14 Sep 2006 04:04 GMT8
Specifically the "S" model, but if you know the others, please tell me.

Mouse story-update14 Sep 2006 01:13 GMT5
After spending over $700 to clean out the mess mice made in my
ventilation system I thought I would check to see if any of this was
covered by my insurance.  I just got the word that they would be sending
me a check (minus the $200 deductible).  I'm sure glad I checked!
2002 Sienna rear door struts13 Sep 2006 22:22 GMT1
The struts that help to open the rear door are a bit rusted now, but
since they were new, the operation of them has frequently been very
sticky, making it very hard to close the overhead door.  Other times
they're working as they should, however.
4runner rear window13 Sep 2006 22:18 GMT13
My 92 4runner's rear window will only budge 1/8 inch in either
direction. It looks like its dropping slightly left rather than
straight down, then up slightly  to the right when it goes up that
fraction of an inch. This was a rust free Georgia vehicle when I bought
95 Avalon wet carpet on front passenger floor13 Sep 2006 22:17 GMT4
I've got a 95 Avalon that now has wet carpet on the front passenger
floor.  I suspected the AC drain and pulled it but it is clear and
running something up into the box didn't result in anything either.
Any ideas on what to check next?  I will probably put the drain hose
'05-'06 Access Cab child seat sticker13 Sep 2006 18:43 GMT2
Did anyone else get their sticker and new owner's manual in the mail?
Like I'm really going to stick a 6x6 bright yellow sticker in the
middle of the back wall of my truck.  <G>
Since I have a sense of responsibility, I will put it somewhere
