| Scion Sound System | 04 Oct 2006 01:17 GMT | 12 |
OK. I don't like the rear speakers in my tC. I have a set of 6.5" MB Quarts hanging around doing nothing. Has anyone replaced the rear speakers in a tC? It looks like I have to pull the whole side panel off the car to get to the speakers. Does anyone

I know there have been discussions on this topic but I can't seem to find a definitive answer. I only hear 1 click when turning the ignition. This especially happens in the morning after not driving for the car for several hours. After

| 2004 Matrix transmission | 03 Oct 2006 21:55 GMT | 3 |
Why does the dipstick on a 2004 toyota Matrix transmission (A246E) say " Fluid should not have to be changed in normal operation", when it's getting dirtier by the month. At 32K now and I want to change it. The book says you can use Mobil 1

| door handle failure | 03 Oct 2006 19:37 GMT | 12 |
My 97 Camry has a problem with the passenger side outside door handle. It will not open the door and acts as if it is still locked. The door opens fine from the inside and the lock mechanism works fine from the inside and the outside.

| Gas Filter Corolla | 03 Oct 2006 05:52 GMT | 2 |
Is my Corolla '94 1.6ltr supposed to have a gas filter? Does it need to be serviced or replaced? I don't remember having done so in all these years. Is it a do-it-yourself kind of maintenance? Thanks in advance,

| transmission drain plug and capacity: 2000 corolla | 03 Oct 2006 05:36 GMT | 2 |
I just replaced the transmission fluid (dexron III from toyota). I pulled out about 3.3 litres but put back in the specified amount of 3.1 L (it is a 4 speed automatic). The manual says to check the dipstick, but difficult to read as the fluid smears along the dipstick --I am

I just got home from purchasing a brand new Toyota Tacoma! I'm totally stoked! Everyone at the dealership was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the entire process, though lengthy, went like a dream. My only moments of anguish occured with the finance guy who was

| '86 Celica GT - advice? | 03 Oct 2006 04:06 GMT | 21 |
I've been offered a 5-speed liftback '86 Celica GT with ~130K miles, basically free of charge (but it will cost me about $900 per year to insure where I live). It has been garaged for a year since the previous owner passed away.

| Lexus GS 450h: forebare of the next Avalon? | 02 Oct 2006 21:03 GMT | 7 |
The 9 October issue of Business Week (US) has a full page devoted to the new Lexus GS 450h hybrid. It includes a good photo. Now that the Avalon is sharing a Lexus platform, I wonder if this hints at the future Avalon.

The more I drive Toyota's Camry, the more impressed I become. That is one well-built machine. Fudge, I fear for Ford and GM. I don't want Ford to go bankrupt, but if they do,

| Toyota's shortened styling cycle | 02 Oct 2006 16:48 GMT | 4 |
My dealer advised me that the next Prius will be a 2008-1/2, as Toyota is moving to 4-1/2 year styling cycle from its present 5. That certainly will complicate model designations, not to mention the year designator in the VIN.
