My wife is temporarily driving an ol' 93 Corolla and just noticed a

Another hint: Cleaning your insturment cluster29 Nov 2006 00:25 GMT5
Now I used to use Windex, window cleaner, AmorAll, etc to clean my
instrument panel.
However, a few years ago I broke a window in a patio door, and when I went
to get it replaced, I was told I couldn't get glass...it had to be
Need help on door mirrors28 Nov 2006 22:14 GMT1
I have a 04 4Runner SR5. Someone stole the passenger side mirror last night.
What I want to know is since the mirror was a non-heated model can I replace
it with a heated one and have it work (is the harness that it is currently
connected  to also powers the heated mirror).
2004 RAV4 AWD tire rotation - confused as to how often28 Nov 2006 21:31 GMT5
I have been rotating my tires at every oil change/service (5000 miles)
as directed in the toyota manual. However today when I took it into
service at Midas, they told me thats too often...that the tires will
never have a chance to wear on one side before they are switched.
{OT}  wii28 Nov 2006 20:23 GMT9
My wife stood in line this morning at Best Buy and bought a Nintendo
Wii for my twelve-year-old son.  Of course it is hooked up by now and
we are playing golf on TV.  It seems I am just as bad at video golf as
I am at real golf.
Corolla '94 - Wire heat insulator on engine block28 Nov 2006 19:48 GMT8
I'm not sure what's the name of this part. In the top right side of the
Corolla 1994 engine block there are some wires that run inside a
flexible accordeon-like heat-protecting "hose." What's the name of this
part? I need to replace it in mine.

Over he Thanksgiving Holiday I had an opportunity to drive a 2007 RAV4 from

93 Corolla - Oil Pan Replacement Charge28 Nov 2006 02:49 GMT7
Last month we had our 93 Corolla serviced at a Chevron station.  We were
told the threads were stripped on the oil pan drain and the pan would have
to be replaced.  We agreed and the bill came to $400+ for parts and labor.
Was the charge excessive?

I have been driving a 1986 VW GTI for the past 10 years, and since she's
starting to show her 20 years of age, I may soon be looking for a

certainly not flawless.  Here in Canada, VW are offering the 2007 ...
