* The car is a 2005 UK-spec "T4" model Prius, unmodified in ways

Hate to say this, guys, but...13 Jan 2007 00:38 GMT6
I really like my '89 626! It is a pretty decent car. I would put it on par
with an '89 Camry, but it's just a hair 'sportier' than the Camry was.

Now, for my particular car, as far as my list of beaters goes, this is

I have a 2002 Corolla that sounded like a bad belt squeak or whatever.
The shop says the belt needs replaced (that's fine, I haven't done it
in 60,000 miles..) and they also said the tensioner pulley had a
bearing going out causing the noise.

unusual engine oil consumption12 Jan 2007 15:40 GMT14
I have 2 Corollas, year 2000 and 2001. Recently, engine oil in 2001
Corolla starts disappearing. I have to keep top the engine oil every

The automatic transmission has been making little barely audible clunking
sounds at times lately. I'm not sure if it's normal or if something is
starting to go wrong.
I haven't changed the transmission oil in about 16 months, but we don't
