Dealer cheaper than JiffyLube!?!18 Jan 2007 03:58 GMT7
Holy smokes!
For an oil change and tire rotation, i.e. 5000/10000 Prius service,
the local Toyota dealer charges less than Jiffy Lube!

Clutch finally gave way18 Jan 2007 03:47 GMT1
Some time ago my celica clutch started refusing to disengage fully. It was
enough to drive but it dragged a little between shifts and in first it was
noticably engine-braking despite having the pedal on the floor. I tried to
ignore it (its an engine-out job on the 4wd and i dont ...

Highlander drivetrain vibration17 Jan 2007 22:46 GMT2
I have a new '07 V6 Highlander that exhibits a driveline vibration

60 MPH in overdrive. However, it is not speed dependent since it also
Toyota Clutch Petal Bracket Breakage17 Jan 2007 22:34 GMT1
I see that this is a small group, but i suspect that it will grow.
I have a 91 Toyota 4x4 in which the clutch bracket just broke for the
second time.  The reason that toyota has these parts in stock is
because this is becoming a very common problem on what appears to be
Have you ever changed a battery this way?17 Jan 2007 22:34 GMT5
I need to replace the battery in my '97 4Runner and I have never had the
code for the radio.  It wasn't in the owners manual and it was a few years
after I bought it that I noticed.  The dealer hasn't been helpful so before
paying them to look up the code or tell me the default ...

Just wanted to tell some folks that would appreciate it.  We are now on
our second tank of gas and love the thing.  It is like a game trying to
work the foot so as to get the best mileage.  I am pretty happy with it
all, and still learning about it.  The only thing I don't like ...

Automatic gear type and hybrid CVT question17 Jan 2007 17:33 GMT9
I was reading a hands-on review of the Saturn Vue hybrid and one thing about
the drive train seemed odd. This vehicle uses a typical gear type
transmission.
My eldest son asked if I would gather information about this vehicle and
turn off 2005 corolla annoyances??17 Jan 2007 16:43 GMT2
I have had a 2005 Corolla for nearly two years and am wondering if
anybody can help me figure out how to:
a) turn off the automatic door-locking mechanism so that I control when
the doors lock
