{OT} Democrats FINALLY get the idea!26 Feb 2007 19:19 GMT12
There is a move in Congrees to reduce or remove the War Powers from
President Bush. Oh well...
But, before you go dancing in the streets after trading your "No Blood For
Oil" posters for "Impeach Bush" posters, realize that anything he did (or

Thanks for your help recently on my '89 Corolla SR5 (147k miles).  As
you recall I broke the windshield and was looking for advice on where
to go.  Long story short, after soliciting about 50 bids, Safelite was
willing to match the lowest, so I drove to Safelite today to get it

Just wondering if anyone has managed to do this without having to
cough up additional major bucks?  Let's say the local dealer has the
same model Yaris on his lot; perhaps it was a daily rental and has
close to the same mileage as mine.  Similar features; just the color I

Avalon accleration/mpg25 Feb 2007 23:53 GMT11
The Toyota Avalon goes from 0 to 60 in 6.7 seconds...all while getting
22 miles per gallon.  How did Toyota do that?  That's better fuel
economy than a lot of mid sized sedans get, and almost what the Cobalt
gets(23).
no heat25 Feb 2007 16:00 GMT6

My 2004 Sienna has about 46,000 miles and dealer told me I should get

I went out and started the truck and set the temperature to 70 degrees.
About 15 20 min later I want out and the inside of the care was ...

Roof top lights?24 Feb 2007 19:15 GMT3
I'm looking for a bi-directional light that can mount on the roof of my
Toyota and be switched on from inside the roof, and would shine to either
side of the car so I could see addresses at night. Do they make anything
like that? What's it called?
