I work for a coal mining company in Emerald. We convert troopies for use
in underground, explosive atmospheres and we take delivery of a new
troopy tomorrow. To assist in our conversion, I desperately need copies
of the General Arrangement Drawings. I have tried all the obvious

My 1985 corolla with 4A-c engine, federal emissions, 2  barrel carburetor
is running very rich, even at idle. I'm almost certain it's a carburetetor
problem, but I'm not positive.
Does anyone know at what engine speed the oxygen sensor feedback system
Certified cars27 Mar 2007 02:11 GMT3
Looking at the prices for certified used cars there seems to be little
difference in price between a year old certified and a new one. Other
than the warranty, is there any advantage to buy the certified and is
the price negotiable?

Can I downshift from D to 3 (or 2) on car (say Camry) with automatic
transmission? Never tried before but would like to do it while driving down
long hill. It's not practical to stop the car (in the middle of the hill,
for example) to do it. Will this cause any damage (or side ...

How does the chrome instrument panel trim in the Matrix come off?26 Mar 2007 21:34 GMT10
My dad had a car in 1971 that also had chrome rings around the instruments.
It pulled off and snapped on.  I'd like to remove the one in the Matrix for
painting, but I can't seem to pull it off and I don't see any tabs to press
or anything.  It's not glued on, is it?

2002 Toyota Corolla -- Right Front Axle26 Mar 2007 17:27 GMT1
I was told the 'clamp' (CV clamp) on the passenger side front axle was
'leaking grease' even though the boot appears to be just fine.  They
told me I may be able to replace the clamp which is like $5.00.  I
also heard it may be better to just replace the axle.  Well... that

No Wonder...then what good is BioFuel?26 Mar 2007 09:19 GMT76
Just read an article in the local paper, they're going to build a $6M
BioDiesel plant in my hometown. Now, this is all very well and good, but
one sentence later it said sales of new Diesel cars in Mass is not allowed.
Huh? Sales of Diesel cars not allowed?
'85 Corolla:when is the  throttle plate in the  secondary venturi supposed to open?26 Mar 2007 01:56 GMT2
1985 SR-5 w/ 4A-C engine.
I know this sounds stupid, but how is the  throttle plate in the
secondary venturi supposed to open?  Is it strictly mechanical, or is
vacuum involved as well?  I noticed yesterday, while I was trying to

I received an email from Philip (he used to post here quite often).
He had a stroke and is on the mend.
A prayer for his recovery would be appreciated.

My 1985 corolla with 4A-c engine, federal emissions, Rear wheel drive, 2

lean, and getting to much fuel to the engine is a very recent problem.
The fuel level is right in the middle of the float bowl ...
Heat on Cause Break Down - Corolla 200225 Mar 2007 02:41 GMT7
My 2002 Corolla has been gone into accident before I bought it a year

The car breaks down when it stops at red light or idle while either
