Does anyone know if Toyota had problems with the front directional lens actually separating from the reflector and light housing base on the 2001 Corollas? Maybe it was an adhesive issue? Was there a recall? Want to know if it is worth going to a boneyard or back to the dealer?

I have checked the fuse and its fine, radio works, everything else works except for cigarette lighter. I have a fm transmitter for my ipod and mobile charger and cannot use it unless it works. Toyota dealership wants $140 to replace and repair.

changed cap, rotor, plug wires and plugs on my 95 Corolla, old cap and rotor were toast; it would hesitate on wet days. it now turns over, but does not start; I can smell fuel so it's getting fuel. I had to pull out the sensor when I took off the airbox to get at the cap

My 1992 Toyota Celica quit running today. After repeated tries to the car I pulled off the spark plug wires and found the spark plug tube full of oil on two of the cylinders. Is this a head gasket problem? If so, how hard is it to pull the head and replace it?
