Best state on the east to buy used?05 Apr 2007 15:47 GMT3
I'm going to be buying a used vehicle soon, most likely a Toyota.  I
will be looking in the 88-95 range.  I live in NH, and many of the
Toyos up here are rotting out by that age.  I'm considering taking a
brief vacation south a few states, and buying while I'm down there.  I
{OT:} Wonder if Bush took note of Blair's slap in the face?05 Apr 2007 04:09 GMT33

Google Blair Press Conference and you'll probably be able to get a clip of

Gas prices...(Old news, I know)04 Apr 2007 20:46 GMT4
I saw prices go up *9 cents* from last night to this morning!
The BP (Amoco) stations like to advertise their ATMs on their big
green-and-white signs.  I say the letters ATM do not stand for
"Automated-Teller Machine" - they indicate that the gas prices you see right

Hello Toyota'ers :D
My little 2.5 year old son, while playing in the 4Runner, screwed the stereo up.
So, I need to replace it [thing that I don't like] with one of those brand name stereos [Kenwood, Pioneer, etc].
    What would you recomend??
1993 Tercel idles rough and stalls04 Apr 2007 08:25 GMT3
I have a 93 Tercel.
It starts fine, but idles rough and will stall at a stop if I don’t
constantly give it gas.  I replaced the cap and wires, which seems to
have helpd a bit, but it hasn’t solved the problem.  Any ideas?

OIl Pump - Yaris04 Apr 2007 03:45 GMT6
A neighbour had her Yaris engine written off as the oil pump failed.  I
believe some Toyota engines do not have the oil pump interlocked with the
crank shaft and taken off the timing belt. Is that so? Is the Yaris one of
these?
