If one has the 6 month service a week early - does have to also have the 12 month service NO MORE than six months from the previous early date? I have jury duty and other schedules so I would either be two weeks

I have decided to purchase an Exhaust Manifold with gasquets set on the internet. Most nearby shops in the Bay Area wanted 200-275 for the part alone. But there are several internet sites that sell this part for a low as 60 dollars. I know nothing about cars. So any help

2001 Corolla with about 120,000 m on it . Engine runs fine and smooth, but I have to add a quart of the recommened 5w-30 about 500-750 miles. No leaks and no visible smoke. Maybe this is normal for a car with this much mileage. Would changing to a higher viscosity oil, 10w -30 ...
