Toyota Motor Corp.'s success is fueled by robust demand for its reliable,
fuel-efficient models, including the Camry, Corolla, Yaris and gas-electric
hybrid Prius.

Looking for an used car with more power than my 1991 Tercel02 May 2007 23:27 GMT11
I have a 5-speed Tercel that really lacks acceleration. I am at a red
light, and when the light turns green, everyone seems to be ahead of
me, and quickly. I'm looking for another used car that would solve
that problem. Can you help?
FA: Toyota MR2 85-89 Original drivers and passangers seat02 May 2007 21:20 GMT1
Two auctions, one for each seat, will combine shipping if you win both

Corolla: NUMMI or Canada-made?02 May 2007 20:50 GMT30
I'm thinking of buying a barely used '06 Corolla LE w/automatic tranny
and 14K miles on it.
Based on the VIN, (starting 1NX), it was assmbled at the NUMMI plant
in California. That's unusual here in PA, where most of the Corollas
2005 Echo Rear Brake Click02 May 2007 19:43 GMT10
Recently I've noticed a loud "click" sound from the rear brakes of my
2005 Echo when braking slowly for example in stop and go traffic.
The car has about 200,000km on it and just recently had the front
brakes replaced (the click predates that).  I'm still on the original
98' Sienna Timing Belt Change Price02 May 2007 09:29 GMT2
Just turned over 90k miles on our Sienna and trying to price out the belt
change.  The dealer is quoting $475 for the belt change and $250 for the
water pump.  Was wondering if anyone recently had one changed and how much
they paid.  Thanks in advance, Pat.
Head gasket question02 May 2007 06:10 GMT13
I recently got the timing belt, water pump, front seals gasket and
engine belts replaced on my 97 camry at 145K miles. The shop in
question is very reputable and performs high quality work on Japanese
cars. After the job, I was told the head gasket is leaking oil. Do
1988 carb corolla SR502 May 2007 05:51 GMT3
About this time last year I installed a new distributer and wire set.
All was well and then a few months ago I began to get a missing cylinder
intermittently. I finally checked the "new" wire set and found one of
the wires was scorched and somewhat deformed. At this point it was
Avalon Cruise Control02 May 2007 04:23 GMT4
2000 Avalon XLS
We recently got in a fender bender with our Avalon. We rear ended a
Saturn. The Saturn got a scratch on the bumper. The Avalon kinda' went
under the Saturns bumper and ended up with a $5,340 repair bill (ouch!)

Will Toyota ever come out with a hybrid that can be
charged by plugging it wall current as well as from
gasoline?

Mystery with 2002 Camry Key01 May 2007 21:10 GMT6
My wife's 2002 Camry came with two keys, a main key and a valet key. The
valet key is the same as the main key but it will not unlock the glove box.
We misplaced the main key last year, and have been using the valet key.
Yesterday we found the main key. It unlocks the doors, trunk ...
