This morning my wife's 2003 Rav4 (60k miles), after no previous symptoms whatsoever, suddenly won't start. The starter makes a rapid, high-pitched ra-ta-ta-ta-ta... sound as long as the key is turned, but seems not to be turning the engine.

Getting ready to put a Toyota 7MGE engine together. A family member insists the head bolts should be lubed before torquing. Agree or no? If so, what's the lube of choice? Also, is thread sealer neccessary for this engine? Do the head bolt threads encounter the water jacket

I had high hopes for this guy, but it turns out he is an idiot. He is on the record as ranting against the Religious Right hijacking the party. That is a bad thing to say when you are wanting moderates of the religious right to jump ship and swim over to your boat.

I was wondering if my 2000 4Runner limited has an interior air filter for the a/c system that can and should be changed. I hear about other vehicles that have something near the front passenger kick panel. I looked in my car but don't see anything obvious.

Just called the Dealer where I bought the vehicle, they want $70 for the 5,000 mile service. It includes oil/filter and tire rotation - only. Walmart with synthetic oil is about $28, tire rotation is about $15, what is the dealer thinking?
