Mythbusters and Truck Drag06 Jul 2007 19:52 GMT15
According to Mythbusters (which I am currently watching)...
They tested Big Rig Drag as myth or fact...
At
100 feet behind a big rig they said they had a 10 percent improvment in
(OT:) Isn't Hilary Clinton about the LAST person that should be talking about "Cronyism"?06 Jul 2007 13:40 GMT16
Whooo! Talk about hipocrasy!
Clinton lays into Bush's pardon (actually, COMMUTATION) of "Scooter" Libby.
Perhaps there's a couple things she could consider:
"We are the President": And how many de facto *criminals* did *WE* pardon

99 Camry "check engine" light that won't go out05 Jul 2007 18:03 GMT6
I own a 99 Camry LE, 2.2 L engine with approximately 116k miles.  In
early June, my check engine light came on and I took it to a
mechanic(one man operation) I had been using for approx six months
based on a referral.  He had replaced the timing belt/water pump in

Pls help - Alarm issue with 2000 Corolla05 Jul 2007 08:14 GMT2
My girlfriend bought a used 2000 Corolla about 4 years ago.  Until
yesterday she did not know or think that her car even had an alarm
system.  Then, after taking it in for service, she found out there IS an
alarm system as it was going off when she picked it up.  She never
Blown transmission seals on my '85 Toyota Tercel05 Jul 2007 08:12 GMT3
I have severe dripping that developed this morning under the

I assume the seals are gone, and wonder what kind of price tag this
repair should have.

{OT} Goin' Fishin'04 Jul 2007 23:51 GMT73
I'll be gone for a week starting Saturday on a fishing, canoeing, and
hanging out trip.  My wife says she will fish if I bait the hook but I
suspect that I'll have to clean any fish we catch.  Since we'll be up by the
Canadian border, I'm hoping we can catch the Northern Lights ...
Saw my old S-10 today04 Jul 2007 23:05 GMT3
It was a 95 S-10 and I sold it in Jan of 1999 because it was already
starting to rust.  My old 93 Corolla, which I had until this last January,
has a lot less rust on it.  And when I saw the old S-10 today, boy did it
have the rust all over the body.  It's been sold at least once ...
Toyota Prius04 Jul 2007 21:21 GMT6
Was a little apprehensive about the Prius until a friend suggested I
should rent one first, before committing to buying it. I strongly
suggest doing so.
Located a rental service that offered Prius and took the car for a
PICS - Toyota introduces the 2008 Auris 3-Door04 Jul 2007 21:00 GMT5
Toyota is broadening its C-Segment hatch line-up in Europe with th
addition of a 3door version of the Auris. Like most of th
competition in Europe, Toyota preferred the easy way when it came t
designing the Auris 3d meaning it simply threw out the rear door
