I pledge blind allegence to the flag, and to Bush and Cheney04 Jul 2007 16:20 GMT1
You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people
all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.

1982 Pickup SOS04 Jul 2007 15:02 GMT5
I'm writing for a friend of mine.   He has a great 1982 white pickup, which
has been awesome and has so many sentimental memories.  Unfortunately, a
woman backed up into him at a McDonald's drivethrough with a Yukon.  Yes,
she's wrong, problem is, you can't find the parts to fix ...
LOOK! what Bush has done! LOOK! LOOK!04 Jul 2007 07:34 GMT12
He has started a war that has killed over 80,000 US soldiers and taken out a
very nice man who had nice sons and a nice family.
WTF is wrong with this guy? Why did he and Cheney and Rove and Libby try to
trick the international community in taking out this nice family who did
2007 RAV4: Programming the Door Locks04 Jul 2007 07:29 GMT5
Just leased a new 2007 RAV4 three days ago, and loving the vehicle!
However, I read in the owners manual (what? he read the manual?!) that the
door locks can be programmed to open all doors simultaneously with a single
press of the key button as opposed to requiring 2 presses. It ...
Sienna oil filter wrench size04 Jul 2007 03:52 GMT1
What is the size of the oil filter wrench on the sienna?  I've tried
taking the filter into the store but I can't find one that fits.
Nothing seems to work and it seems like there is only enough space to
use the socket type wrench...
(OT:) Global Warming getting out of hand...04 Jul 2007 03:00 GMT4
I got home at 6:30 this morning and went to bed. I watched the morning
news for a while.
I have the thermostat set for 68 degrees for heat, and 72 degrees for
cooling. As I turned the light off to get some sleep, I heard the system

1983 Cressida: Has a fan clutch, or is it a permanant connection?03 Jul 2007 21:51 GMT20
One quick question...
Does a 1983 Cressida 6 cyl have a fan clutch (that could "freeze"), or
it it naturally spinning constantly?
Thanks.
Interesting observation03 Jul 2007 19:59 GMT1
Well, it's interesting to me anyway. I have had occasion to drive by a
couple of repo sales recently and one thing I noticed was the absence of
Toyotas in the repossessed vehicles. Wonder why, since Toyota sells so
many cars in the US?

Toyota Pads w/ after market rotors03 Jul 2007 14:42 GMT4
So I went to the dealer this weekend because I got tired of my
pulsating brakes.  The pads were OK but after inspection, they claim
the rotors were likely the originals which is odd considering the car
has 133,000 miles.  I bought the car from the same dealer when it had
One thing I've learned from my ORDEAL replacing CV shafts!03 Jul 2007 12:15 GMT5
DON'T go full-lock on the steering!!!
Man, these things aren't very robust, are they?
I was replacing the driver's side one, and got the end of the shaft *just*
into the transmission but the splines weren't aligned, so I went to pull

Gas pump accuracy?03 Jul 2007 02:46 GMT89
I write down what my Prius says my average MPG was when I fill up. Then I
calculate from the miles and gallons pumped what my average MPG was and
write that down. They rarely agree, and almost always the pump says my MPG
was less than my Prius said. But once in a while, the pump MPG ...
Had an Accident, can anybody help me figure out what happened?03 Jul 2007 01:37 GMT53
I'm (was) driving a 97 Avalon, good maintenance and I really only
drive about once or twice a week, (about 7k miles a year).
I was traveling down a highway a good 6 or 7 car lengths behind when
the cars in front of me all hit the brakes, well I put my foot on the
