I saw something to the effect that they're planning on adding a feature to future Prius' that would allow charging the battery off household current. It would be a simple enough thing to add now, actually. Seems like any decent electronics tech could cook one up and make money ...

I was told by the local alternator repair guy he couldn't verify that the alternator in my 80 pickup was the original. He said its the "B" wiring and not 40 amp but if I get the wrong regulator it can mess up my wiring harness. Anyone with any knowledge on this? I know this is

Hi - Something strange happened to my Rav4's odometer - it gained approximately 1400 miles today. I'm a salesperson and I track my mileage with every stop and today (between stops) I came back to my car and the odometer changed from 9996 miles to around 11400 miles.
