91 corolla opinions30 Nov 2007 23:23 GMT4
I need a cheap, reliable car and fast. I'm considering a 91 Corolla
but know nothing about them except I love Toyotas. What should I look
for when evaluating one of these? I just need it to last10,000 miles
or so including several 500 mile trips without major problems, and I
Key needed for Lug Nuts on 2004 Corolla.  Where, how much?30 Nov 2007 19:44 GMT9
I bought a 2004 Corolla S in July.  It needed new tires, and didn't
notice the wheels have a lock on each one.
I finally had them removed and had the tires changed.  I'm missing a
lug nut for all 4 wheels currently, and either need to purchase a key,
"Laced" gas.30 Nov 2007 16:56 GMT18
I asked a local store why his gas was $.25 higher than the gas in the
central part of the state.  He said that his gas was not "laced" with
methanol like the gas in the central part.  I find this hard to believe.
I thought that "laced: gas had to be called ethanol and so labelled at
Low tire pressure indicator light always on30 Nov 2007 06:12 GMT29
I have a 3 month old RAV 4 limited.  Within 2 weeks of
purchase  the low pressure indicator light popped on.  I took it to
the dealer and they did something that turned it off for a few days.
I have checked tire pressure carefully.  Not the problem.

Two 89 Toyota Cressia ?'s - gas mileage and disabling the alarm30 Nov 2007 04:23 GMT12
What mileage do you think an '89 Toy Cressida w/7MGE should get? After
2 fill ups on a longish trip, I seem to be getting around  26 - 27.
Almost exclusively highway driving at speeds varying from 50 - 80,
mostly in the 65 - 75 range..
Damages to Auto Glass30 Nov 2007 01:32 GMT1
Damages to Auto Glass
Many types of damage to auto glass, such as small nicks and blemishes,
can be repaired without the need for replacement. Repairing such minor
problems assures that small cracks don't spread, restores the

1992 Corolla steering noise29 Nov 2007 16:24 GMT5
Lately I notice the steering wheel makes noise when making turns.  It
seems like it's within the car not in the engine area and I don't feel
any difference holding the steering wheel in turns.  It sounds more
like plastic rubbing something (superficial sounds).  I'm hesitant to
Squeal When Releasing Brake29 Nov 2007 14:42 GMT1
I have 02 Corolla 58K and recently I started noticing an occassional squeal
when releasing the brake. I traced the sound to right-rear brake (I can make
the sound happen when releasing the parking brake).
So first I though about dismantling the brake but I could not even take out
Issues with 2008 Camry nav sy29 Nov 2007 11:05 GMT4
I'm going to post my gripes here and hope I'm doing something wrong
and someone will happily, snidely tell me what to do to get things to
work:
1). No turn-by-turn voice.  This is the biggest issue since it's
My 02 Highlander and my 08 on same trip28 Nov 2007 05:42 GMT2
I had to take a trip to NW Idaho last week due to a family illness - I took
this same trip several times in our 02 Highlander but usually in better
weather.  As all know, the 08 is larger, heavier, quieter and much more
powerful.  02 was a base awd and the 08 is a limited awd.
2000 Echo "bass-ackward" defroster28 Nov 2007 00:58 GMT35
It has been pouring rain lately.  I took my daughter to work today, and as
soon as the car left the garage it fogged up so completely I had to use the
wipers and open the windows to see.  I turned on the defroster (anterior),
opened the vents, but it got even worse.  I knew my ...
