Plugs - Denso?11 Feb 2008 02:04 GMT28
Awhile back I was mentioning plugs here, for the 93 Corolla wagon ( 1.8L
AE102 ) and someone suggested only using Denso?
( I've used Bosch platinum and all kinds of others over the years. )
So it's time for new plugs, which is one of the few things I think I can

The exact reason we need stiffer rules on entering the country and better
enforcement... Immigration can be a bad thing if people refuse to change
unhealthy ways while entering the country.

Malfunction indicator?10 Feb 2008 16:49 GMT33
Have a 2003 Highlander. The "malfunction indicator lamp" has been on
for a couple days. The manual says "If the fuel tank is not empty or
the fuel tank cap is not loose, there is a problem somewhere in the
engine, emission control system, automatic transmission electrical
{OT}  polls10 Feb 2008 02:57 GMT17
So I receive these poll questionnaires from Polling Point and Zogby
International occassionally.  They are mostly political in nature and
the two I filled out today were remarkably similar.
As usual they start out with some demographic questions then get into

Driving straight09 Feb 2008 20:45 GMT11
Recently I took my 2003 Corolla CE for an alignment. According to the
machine, they left it almost perfect. It is now much better than it
was. If the road is flat, the car goes straight if I let go of the
wheel. But sometimes the roads are slanted, I guess to drive the rain

Similar to a drinking game, but a bit different:
Every time Obama says "Change", hit yourself in the head with a hammer.
Every time Hillary says either "Ready" or "Experience" blow your brains
out with as large a caliber pistol as you can get your hands on.
Consumer Reports no longer recommends Camry XLE V609 Feb 2008 20:15 GMT5
In the March issue of Consumer Reports .... The Toyota Camry XLE with a
V-6 is in a group of sedans that are not recommended!  That's surprising
in a publication that has long recommended most Toyotas.  The review
gives this vehicle only a FAIR rating for reliability.  Only the ...
Dodge Viper SRT1009 Feb 2008 14:27 GMT1
The automobile Dodge Viper was first introduced over fifteen years ago
in 1992. Since then the Dodge Viper has changed, improved and faced
many obstacles as well. But its popularity has never gone down. Many
people still love Dodge Vipers. The new 2006 Viper model has also
Corolla questions......09 Feb 2008 13:47 GMT13
I am looking to buy a 2002-2006 Corolla 5spd man. trans. If I get
an older one, and it has already racked up 100K miles, two questions:
does it have interference-type valves---engine is damaged if the
timing belt breaks?   Second, how many more miles can one expect to

Auto shops advice09 Feb 2008 05:33 GMT13
I've had bad experiences in most of the franchise auto shops I tried.
Besides the usual "courtesy check" (I understand they have to make a
living and some of their suggestions can actually be very valid), they
aren't too trustworthy: in Firestone they tried to charge me extra for
