I could have sworn when I got this 1985 Toyota Tercel wagon 2 wheel drive a couple of years ago that I was looking eyeball to eyeball with an air conditioner. My first thought was to make sure the engine was ready for the extra burden of an A/C before I even tried to get it ...

| Disabling alarm on '89 Toyota Cressida | 15 Apr 2008 06:37 GMT | 2 |
Keeps going off spontaneously. I've asked about this before and someone suggested removing a fuse, but there doesn't appear to one on the main fuse block that's in the engine compartment. So far not finding any reference to one in the shop manual.

FYI, mixed 6 tablespoons of baking soda in 4 cups of water and cleaned my battery post terminals. Just thought I would share. It worked flawlessly. Ate the acid right off. Used an old toothbrush and cleaned up the entire battery including the posts and outside casing.
