NEW TOYOTA ONLINE PARTS STORE OPENED TODAY THEY SAY YOU CAN SAVE UP     TO 20% ON OEM PARTS22 May 2008 04:12 GMT1
I do most of my shopping online, including parts for my 2005 Tacoma
Double Cab TRD Off-Road PreRunner. I found this online parts store
that just opened for business today and they have some great prices
from what I can tell and they are Toyota OEM parts. Just thought I
corolla 2000 seat replacement21 May 2008 19:22 GMT2
I have a corolla 2000 which is working fine.  But, I find that the
seats are not as comfortable as some others, and was wondering whether
I might get, say, some Camry seats from a scrapyard and replace them.
Any body have any experience with this?  Perhaps there are other types
Changing Serpentine Belts on 1994 Corolla21 May 2008 18:46 GMT7
I have a 1994 Corolla with 178K miles on it and it is making a very
loud squeaking noise.  I put some Belt (Dressing) Conditioner on the
belts and the noise actually got louder.  The belts were last changed
about 40,000 miles ago and they do not look that worn.
Not really a job I want to do...or is it?21 May 2008 17:42 GMT6
Need new universals on the Supra. There are three of them; a front shaft
and a center carrier/bearing, and a rear shaft. This isn't really
something I want to do on ramps or jack stands...or is it?

Got a bad starting problem with my 1985 Tercel wagon21 May 2008 06:04 GMT7
For quite a while I would hit the old starter with a rubber hammer to get it
to stop CLICKing, instead of starting.
When that stopped working so well, I had a new starter installed.  It was
fine for a week, and then intermittently started CLICKing when I tried to
Toyota 3.5L V6 piston slap?21 May 2008 05:56 GMT12
Graybeard's experience with other Lexus on the lot and Toyota suggests
the relaxed piston-bore production tolerance is common on the 3.5L
V6.
How about on the Camry V6/Avalon? Anyone?
Plan on driving a new car on a 3000mile highway trip.  Bad idea?21 May 2008 04:51 GMT215
I was planning on taking my soon to take possession Highlander V6 on a
trip which will consist mostly of highway driving of about 3000mile
drive and been told that that's not such a good idea because you don't
want to drive a brand new car on the highway for any extended amount
Camry Hybrid prices21 May 2008 03:55 GMT56
I am very interested in buying a new (2008 or 2009) Camry Hybrid.
Unfortunately, due to rising gas prices, it seems that everyone else
is getting the same idea.  I am curious, given the apparent recent
spike in demand for these, what kind of deal those of you who have

Driving a car until it dies...20 May 2008 04:46 GMT64
I didn't think it was appropriate to hijack a thread so I started a
new one.
I am 26 years old and when I was 16, my dad gave me a 1985 Ford
Tempo.  I drove that until it died and being 16, a lot of it was
