Yaris19 Jun 2008 03:05 GMT6
I'm surprised they didnt outfit the Yaris with a 1.0 liter fuel injected
engine. Imagine the MPG it could get?
Or is it just too heavy for that?
I heard something about the Smart Cars having a 1.0 liter fuel injected

rec.auto.makers.toyota19 Jun 2008 00:08 GMT12
is an empty group.

Dirty torquer18 Jun 2008 15:11 GMT37
Oh my gosh, rotating tires is an awfully dirty job.  It's much
dirtier than changing oil.  All I did was remove one wheel
cover/"hubcap" with a screwdriver, and got really dirty.  Wheels
don't like being clean, I suppose.  (I removed the wheel cover
Hypermiling a '97 Corolla18 Jun 2008 04:59 GMT7
I’m trying to squeeze extra mileage out of my 1997 Toyota Corolla,
which has a 1.6 liter engine and 3 speed automatic. Mainly I’ve been
using a very light touch on the gas and brakes, shifting into neutral
at traffic lights, and coasting in neutral wherever I can safely and
{OT}  drill17 Jun 2008 21:59 GMT5
Sen. John McCain called yesterday for an end to the federal ban on

Conservative grassroots group Grassfire.org wants people to waste as much
energy as possible on June 12 by "hosting a barbecue, going for a drive,
watching television, leaving a few lights on, or even smoking a few
Cheap Fix (was rear end juddering...)17 Jun 2008 14:57 GMT33
Drained the Mobil 1 synthetic oil (that cost $8.99/qt), replaced it with
Valvoline ($4.99/qt) and added GM Limited Slip oil ($9/4 oz)
I could feel the difference within 10 feet. The rear end was nice and
smooth, even going in a straight line. No more grabbing/juddering going
Toyota Tercel vs. Honda Civic17 Jun 2008 04:36 GMT4
Original and only owner of a 91 Civic here. I am looking for
either a beater Civic or beater Tercel for a friend trying
to save on gas.
Any comments on the maintenance requirements for, say, a 91

I need to order some parts for my 2002 Toyota Camry LE (4 cylinder),
but the person from the store and I don't know whether my car is an
American or Japenase product, could someone help me how I can

Having trouble with my newsreader...16 Jun 2008 16:49 GMT13
My configuration keeps blowing itself out, so if Wickeddoll or Cathy could
post some lingerie pix to test it, I'd sure appreciate it!
