Fuel economy24 Jul 2008 05:38 GMT14
Someone who owns a Honda Fit (?Truckdude) mentioned his gas mileage, which
was lower than my 2000 Echo.  I'm just wondering why, since that car looks
way smaller than mine.  The mileage isn't a *lot* better, but still.
Hubby's Scion xA is also larger, but gets better mileage as ...

Last month I rotated the wheels on the '06 Camry, from front

All the lug nuts on the two rear wheels did not turn even
How long would a diesel hybrid last?24 Jul 2008 02:18 GMT21
From what I've been hearing the Prius should theoretically last longer
than a normal gas car because the gas engine is run at optimal rpm's,
the transmission has less moving parts and the electric engine lasts
practically forever. If this is true, I wonder how long a diesel Prius

An '89 Tercel AWD wagon. Woman wouldn't sell...

{OT}  more media bias22 Jul 2008 16:16 GMT3
This is why alternative news sources such as Internet, talk radio,
word-of-mouth, blogs, etc. are necessary for getting the whole picture.
The mainstream media is constantly shown to be partial to certain
candidates at the expense of others.  This type of social engineering
Synthetic Oil & Toyota Warranty??22 Jul 2008 16:02 GMT83
A guy I work with just bought an '08 Toyota Tacoma, extended cab,  4x4,
auto, etc.  He said that the "dealership" told him that if he switches to
Mobil 1 or any synthetic oil, that it will void his warranty.  Sounds like
total BS to me but thought I would toss this out to the ...
