For a 2002 Avalon, I have the actual Toyota repair manuals (boy are they spotless. My Chrysler manuals got some use). The manuals say to remove the glove box five screws, but then go off onto disconnecting the air bag...etc.. Can anyone advise me as to how to replace this

Not one, but two. My Suby busted a belt in the worst possible place Thursday. At first I didn't know what quit but it had all the earmarks of a busted timing belt. Sad thing is, I took it to someone in January and he said they were good.
