| 4x4 in the 4k - 5k range | 30 Sep 2004 17:38 GMT | 3 |
I'm thinking about getting a 4x4 (to be used on-road) in the ?4000 - 5000 range. Probably either a Rav4, Mitsubishi RVR or perhaps a Kia Sportage. Has anyone got any general advice on what to look for (or what not to buy!). Cheers

| So, going back to 30" tyres.... | 23 Sep 2004 09:19 GMT | 14 |
Went back to 30" tyres on my Ford Ranger 2.5 liter turbodiesel, from the 31" ones that the previous owner put on, however without bothering to also raise the suspension causing the front wheels to nudge the wheel-arches in tight corners with a bump in the middle on the old tyres.

| REQ: Spare Wheel Carrier For Kia Sportage Mk 1 | 23 Sep 2004 04:56 GMT | 2 |
The latch on the spare wheel carrier of my 96 Sportage has sheared off, and I can't find anyone who will weld it because it's alloy. My local Kia dealer has quoted me a fortune for a new replacement carrier. Can anyone suggest a good source for a used one?

| 3rd row of seats | 20 Sep 2004 21:20 GMT | 3 |
I used to have a Nissan Patrol and loved the fact the third row of seats folded up against the second row. Does any current production 4x4 have this? I just find the folding up to the sides inconvenient. Your thoughts would be appreciated.
