| Suzuki permanent 4WD problem. | 28 Feb 2005 09:55 GMT | 16 |
My Suzuki Grand Vitara handbook says to use 4wd only in wet, snow, poor terrain, etc. - but does not say why. What are the implications of keeping it in 4wd permanently. There is not one word of warning against this in the book.

| vw or porsche | 27 Feb 2005 23:26 GMT | 4 |
I was wondering which one I would buy: Porsche Cayenne or Volkswagen Taureg(I may have spelled it wrong, sorry!). I know vw is more appropriate for hard conditions but porsche is more like a sport car. I also heard that vw is more luxirious inside. Is that true? Which one

A somewhat prosaic question, but if off-roaders don't know how to get mud off cars, who would? Any recommendations as to what to clean my shiny, brand new, black (Yes, I know, but black looks great when it's clean) X-Trail with? It's been Supagard treated, but the after-care ...

Yeah, OK, The Nissan X-trail that I have at the moment may not be classed as a proper 4x4 but felt it safer to post in here rather than normal motoring group so I dont get sent to hell and flamed for owning a fuel guzzling, pedestrian killer vehicle that never ever gets its feet ...

| Frontera steering column removal (to take dash out) | 11 Feb 2005 09:29 GMT | 3 |
Heater matrix exploded on my mum's '95 Frontera 2.4i (as they seem to do) and I let myself in for the fun of a full dash removal to replace it before she can sell the monstrosity. At least I convinced her to get a little SJ like mine - they don't have a heater matrix just a little ...
