I have ordered a Sony CDX-M850MP ABP FACE CD MP3 Receiver from the states and now someone has told me that it may not work in the uk because of tuning issues. Is this true? Would it be possible to make it work in the uk?

I have built up a collection of Radio 4 and Radio 7 programmes on my PC which are stored as mp3 files. I wish to listen to these in my car. Currently I record them onto audio cassette and then play these in the car but I wish to move to a system which does not use cassette.

Replace an old Philips CAR400 radio/cassette with a new Kenwood MP3/tuner head unit and all works well, *except* the Nokia car kit has a problem whereby you can't hear the incoming call through the car speakers; this used to work perfectly with the old unit.

Got a friend of a friend who wants to buy my old Panasonic CQRDP113N CD headunit, becuase she doesn't have a CD player. It is going into a 1999 Punto, does the MY need either a harness or Facia Adaptor? Not up on Fiats.

Im anticipating that I will need a capacitor and want to know how do you tell what size is needed? Is there a formula or a rule of thumb or something? Upgarding the alternator is NOT an option.
