Bizarre problem with Q103 - Kenwood radios in Cambridge29 Apr 2004 20:47 GMT8
I've just fitted a new Kenwood KDC-PSW9527 stereo to my car, which is
very good, but I have noticed an odd bit of behaviour.
It is an RDS radio, which therefore displays the name of the station
you are listening to, rather than the frequency. This works perfectly

I have a sony flip and when I turn the volume up loud on the head unit the
audio starts cutting in and out!!! There is no external amp being used.
Could this problem be due to not enough power getting to the head unit?
Thanks in advance
Replacing Ford KA OEM radio27 Apr 2004 16:33 GMT1
I've got a 2001 Ka, it's got the orginal Ford Radio in, and I'm
guessing from the little googling I've done it's a 1000 (8 buttons a
cassette with just a Fast Forward)  I'm wanting to get a DAB radio in
there, preferably one which can also play MP3's and ideally with a
MP3 CD head unit.26 Apr 2004 22:04 GMT2
I'm looking to fit an MP3 head unit to my Mk3 polo but I'm having problems
finding one that isn't silver. I found a Sony CDXF5500 unit but have been told
that it will probably sound quite tinny in a small car with small speakers (3"
in the front and I think 4x6 in the back) as they ...

Total amp draw is over 100amp but battery is only 55amp so...26 Apr 2004 10:54 GMT9
I have the above situation so how would this effect my setup?  Must I
install another battery to provide the max amp drawn?  How often do amps
draw their max amp power?
Thanks

Kenwood 4527 opinions25 Apr 2004 20:24 GMT2
Anyone tried one of these players, that would care to comment? I'm after
an in car mp3 player that will be happy with lame VBR mp3s.
I don't want to spend a lot of money (just be able to play CDRWs of
mp3s) as I'm not in my car enough and I don't think expensive equipment

I'd like to fit a Sony CD player head unit (removed from previous car)

shelf and naturally wants to use the fader control - ...
