Have just bought a car with an in-dash 6CD autochanger and need advice on
CDs.
In the past, I have burned music compilations to CDs with my computer at
home but I heard a rumour that these homemade CDs can cause jams or failures

installed my system in my saxo the other day there,and it has a whine coming
from the back (2 amps in back,one for 6x9s and one for sub) which is
obviously interferance somewhere,cos it's engine noise. sort of
whistle/whine which is fine when engine isn't on,soon as car starts it ...

I'm new to this group so please understand if I'm asking an silly question.
I have an Alfa with a Sony cassette head unit and cd autochanger. I want to
be able to play mp3s. I've seen a head unit that will do this from Sony, and
drive my autochanger but.....

I have just bought a 2003 Passat 1.9 SE. This has a GAMMA head unit
and also an in dash 6 disc changer which I believe is a SONY. I would
like to replace the head unit with a Kenwood.
Do i need to get a convertor adapter in order to connect the Kenwood

Hi group.
Since fitting my DVD player and screen along with my Sony XA 300 source
selector I have loads of interference when playing from any source with the

I've been looking at the Kenwood KDCW4527G and the Blaupunkt BLA-SCMP34.
Both roughly ?100, I reckon the Blaupunkt looks better, and so I'm leaning
towards that. However, I'm wondering if there's any difference in how well
the two players play mp3s and particularly how you navigate ...

I am fitting a Kenwood 7070R HU with the above graphic.  My older HU's
had a din output, but the 7070 has two phono outs.  The 9042 has phono's
and a DIN input (8 pin iirc).  Is there any benefit to finding or making
a lead to use the DIN or are the straight phono connectors the ...

I've jsut gotmyself a shiny new Sony CDXR 3300 (CD/MP3 player) for my
Mk4 Fiesta (2000).
Whilst it's sounding rather nice (with the OEM Ford fronts), it's
distinctly lacking in low end.

Does anyone know if the Zafira Energy model comes with tweeters in the
rear doors? I can't hear anything from the grilles whereas I can in
the front. SO either they are not working or Vauxhall have penny
pinched and not fitted any. If they are not there is there a cheap
