connecting car stereo to mains supply30 May 2006 18:25 GMT2
I'm trying to run a car stereo from a mains supply, but I'm a bit
clueless about wiring it up, and I wonder if some bright spark out
there can help me. Briefly, I have a power pack which provides a
regulated 5 amp 12 volt DC supply. The stereo harness has five wires (I
Advice on removing Mondeo radio27 May 2006 04:59 GMT1
6000 Radio/CD in Mondeo 2001 / Y
I've got the removal tool and can pull out the unit, but not far enough to
see round the back, let alone reach round and unplug anything. Something is
stopping it from coming out any further.
Kenwood head unit and Ipod25 May 2006 11:34 GMT1
I'm thinking of purchasing a Kenwood head unit with dedicated Kenwood
Ipod adapter.  My hope is that because I can control the Ipod from the
head unit, and because it apparently displays the  artist/album/title

Radio Code required10 May 2006 22:38 GMT2
I have just had some repairs done to my 1992 Peugeot 309 GLD.  The
repairer disconnected the battery while the work was done and now the
car radio won't work.
I believe the radio is the original one fitted to the car.
Another aerial question10 May 2006 14:14 GMT3
The reception in my Skoda Octavia is deteriorating noticeably.  It has
been suggested that this is a problem with the aerial rather than the
radio, which is c***p anyway, but has been receiving fm reasonably
until recently.
