Anyone replaced the standard Vauxhall CD30 radio/CD in a Mk5 (latest
model) Astra Estate? I know adapter cages are available quite cheaply
to permit fitting of a standard DIN head, and interfacing between the
(P-type?) connector and ISO.

First off, I'm a complete novice when it comes to car audio and it's
terminology but here goes - be gentle  :o)
I've got a Pioneer KEH-P6900R (that's what it says on the removable head
unit anyway - I've got no idea what's behind the dashboard that this head

Have had to replace my battery on my corsa 1998 and lost the code, can
buy the code but it would be a good time to replace the radio/cassette
player with a radio/cd player.
